Was supposed to fly out on a Thursday, flight was canceled, stayed at hotel over night to take rescheduled flight Friday at 6am.... had to de ice plane, catch connected flight in Orlando to go to Detroit, dodge a storm be 30 minutes late and wait 5 hours to catch next flight to Detroit, sat at the last seat in the back of the so called plane (seats like a high scool stadium bleacher). I purchased insurance and was given the run around, had to cancel my trip because the person I was going with was not feeling well. I called Spirit first and was told to call the insurance company the insurance company told me to call Spirit. On the phone for quite some time to be told by the Spirit representative that they have had problems with the insurance company they use. I lost my money for the flight only to get an email two weeks later that they changed their policy for cancellation.…
