Spirit Airlines World Worst ever 953788460 Spirit Airlines Like to give less than 0 star Worst flight experience. Schedule was to fly out of Houston to Columbus on May 28 connecting thru Fort Lauderdale. Flight from Houston got late by 2 and 1/2 hours so the connection was going to be missed. They rebooked me next day May 29 same flights. Guess what, flight got delayed again for no apparent reason for about 1 hour. Came to Fort Lauderdale, ran to connecting flight. sort of breath. There was 10 minutes to departure time and they closed the gate. Will not open. Rebooked again from Fort Lauderdale with a new connection to Orlando to Columbus. Flying out at 11:45pm. Arriving 1:10 am in Orlando, leaving at 5:30 am Orlando to arrive Columbus at 8am. No courtesy, no compensation, no food voucher. Reason: weather related delay so it’s act of god. Liars. There was no weather issue. I checked IAH airport Flight controller's site and it clearly stated that there was no delay due to weather. If any delay, it was causing by gate departure with was 15 minutes or less. I showed this to Spirit employee but she refuse to acknowledge the information I was showing her and keep insisting that they have information that flight was delayed by weather. When I asked to show the proof, she will not show me the the proof like I did. Clearly, she did not care about my suffering over the profit of Spirit Airline. Never going to fly Spirit again. This the third such experience with them for me and that enough. Now flight from Fort Lauderdale to Orlando is being delayed as I am writhing this.…

First time flying. I work at 4:30 am. My flight was support to be at 10:30. It’s landing at 1:30! $79 bag, $15 wifi, $4 to get any drinks. I could have paid $350 for a round trip having a 10 hour delay I am at 10 hours at the air port already and I paid $899 plus $79.00 for a bag. No free movies like every airline does. They need to pay us for our time. Delaying and delayed. I been on over 130 flights. Never been delayed. First and last time flying spirit. Do not fly with them. You will not make it to your destination and you will end up paying more then you would with delta.…

Spirit never updated the trip/destination on the gate. Never announced the flight while I was waiting in front of the flight. Took off 10 minutes earlier. At least 10 people missed the flight due to the same reason. You can't understand the announcement either even if so. They changed the flight status on the screen at the gate after the flight took off 10 minutes before when people complaint. Never ever take spirit airline.…

Very terrible airline knew there were mechanical issues with the plane and lied and said our flight was just arriving from an international flight, so it delayed us 37mins which turned into an hour and then were told more lies when asked why we didn’t depart yet, we were told they were waiting on a book, then paper work, then said that their were mechanical issues but they were fixed then turned around and said they were not fixed and it’s not safe to fly. Then there were was a very rude flight attendant. There really wasn’t no remorse given and people were just looked at all the people like what can we do. Just to turn around and still not cancel the flight and said if we get another flight scheduled you will lose your bag cause they weren’t taking it off the plane. Overall experience was terrible, i don’t recommend this airline to NO ONE.…
