Spain Park High School Reviews
Rating 4.15 out of 5 288 reviews
As a senior, I have spent the past few years here at Spain Park and have enjoyed playing in many sports while maintaining good grades. The sports department is wonderful with amazing coaches. While not every class was my favorite they were all taught well and most had opportunities for out-of-class educational experiences. THey also offer law, business, Health, and engineering academies all with wonderful oupteerinutes for growing and learning within their field. Further, I have connected with teachers who have greatly impacted my life. Spain Park also does well with crisis and aftermath handling as demonstrated in 2021 when a student passed away.
Spain Park is a great prep-school for college. The teachers are passionate about what they teach and care about their students success, during and after high school. They give an adequate amount of writing, reading, math, history, science, and language assignments. Students ill most likely have multiple hours of homework to complete in any given week. The only real downside to Spain Park is the drama. My word, it gets exhausting at times. But hey, it's high school, what do you expect? Also, most activities you do that involve sports and travel will be expensive. Worth it, but expensive. I would like to see the student body be more united in the future. While I was there, it felt very sectioned off.
Spain Park is a great school with amazing supportive teachers who are very passionate about their jobs. Although there are many teachers who could show more effort into their jobs, teachers at Spain Park are great and are there to help. The worst experiences I've had here is the community. The community here is almost non-existent. School clubs are a joke here. In the future, I would like to see a push for school clubs and how they are operated. We only have school club meets every 9 weeks. Furthermore, I would like the school to promote more opportunities for their students.
