While planning our Key West vacation, my wife and I were looking for a quality place, decently priced and in the Old Town area....THIS IS THE PLACE!! This hotel is great. In talking with some other guests who had stayed here previously, they have remodeled it and it was really nice. My only regret was that I didn't take any photos. There is a decently-sized pool with hot tub. They also have an above average contintental breakfast and internet access. This property is about 3 blocks from the Southernmost point. There are several restaurants, stores, bicycle/scooter rentals all really close. It is about 1 block away from Duval St. It is a 20 min. walk to the "Hot Spots" on Duval, but it is far enough way that you don't have a keg party right outside your door. I would highly…

Enjoyed our two day stay at this hotel. The service was great, great location (we walked to Duval street several times). We would definitely stay here again.

We spent three nights at the Best Western Hibiscus Motel and thought it was a great value in a good location. The motel is located a block off of the quiet end of Duval Street. The motel was clean and quiet. It is a small motel with a hot tub and large (and very warm) pool with palm trees around... which made us just want to grab a chair and a book and relax. You can rent bikes next door. With limited parking in town, bikes are the the best way to get around. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance(Camille's for breakfast was great). The hotel offered complimentary breakfast, bagels, toast, cereal, juice, coffee, etc. which was handy. Overall, it's not fancy but clean, a great pool, and a convenient location.

My husband and I were going to meet our daughter (and grandchildren) in Key West to celebrate her fifth wedding anniversay. Five years ago, her entire wedding party and all the guests stayed at the Hibiscus and were all very pleased, so we chose to go back there. It was very important that we stay at a place that catered to children, which it does with spacios rooms, frige, micorwave, crib, and exeptional complimentary breakfast. The other main attraction was the "heated" pool. My grandchildren are like fish and will spend most of their time in the pool. I even called to be sure the pool would be heated, and was assured it would be. Well, it wasn't heated. We could not use it. It made for a very long three-day stay. That was very disappointing. The floors of our room…

Booked my stay at this hotel through their website for Jan. 3-6, 2008. With my AAA discount, paid $180 Thurs. night & $200 Fri. & Sat. It was a little expensive, but compared to other hotels at this time in Key West, it was a bargain! Likes: -Friendly hotel staff -Check-in was quick -Very clean room -Hot tub was great, also clean -Comfortable beds -Free continental breakfast (Cereals, Waffles, Juices, Coffee, Pastries, etc.) -Within walking distance to everything (about 10 min) -Also close to the beach and Southernmost Point -Just one street over from quieter end of Duval, so it's easy to get sleep, but also easy to get to the main areas with out driving The only 2 Dislikes: -Some of the housekeeping did not speak English, so it was sometimes difficult - The heated pool was…

For the past 7 years, we have always stayed at the Hibiscus when we go to Key West. We stayed here for two nights this past Labor Day weekend, and what a pleasant surprise that they've made the place even better! The lobby area has been expanded and looks lovely. Free continental breakfast is served every morning there, and there is a computer with high speed Internet access for anyone that didn't bring a laptop. I brought mine, and was able to connect through their free wireless service. The pool has been revamped and is the cleanest public pool I believe I've ever been in. The hottub is just that...HOT! Very nice! We were a large group, and had 4 rooms. Each room was huge, ULTRA clean, with comfortable beds. Each room has a safe, hair dryer, coffee maker, refrigerator and…

We stayed at the B/W Hibiscus on the 5th july for 2 nights what a nice and friendly place to stay . From the moment we checked in the staff were friendly and helpful the rooms were very spacious & clean. The location was great with the quaint shops, bars & restaurants of Duval Street a short walk. We really did enjoy our stay at the B/W Hibiscus and key west and cannot wait to go back.

Finding a hotel for 2 adults and 2 children in Key West for under $100/night is not easy. I was lucky to find this hotel on TripAdvisor and book early enough for the $89 AAA rate. We ended up with a mini-suite over the desk. The room was large and quiet. We only stayed one night, but the kitchenette would have been great for a longer stay. I also loved that there was a sink/mirror in the bathroom and a second sink/mirror outside of the bathroom. The pool area looked inviting, but the weather and our schedule did not allow us time to try it out. Cleanliness was just average. I sat on the floor to re-pack our bags and noticed a strong mildew odor. I'm sure this is common with the kind of humidity we experienced. Also, noticed ants in the bathroom. The guy at the desk the morning…

Just returned from BW Hibiscus on 5/3/07. This was a really nice basic motel - really big, clean rooms with microwave & refrig in room. We spent most afternoons at the pool - there were plenty of lounge chairs. Really good location - just 1 block from Duval & about a 15-20 minute walk down to the Mallory Square area. We flew in to KW so did not have a car, but we could walk to everything. One day we rented a scooter & drove around the whole island - but all of Old Town was within walking distance. Would definitely stay at Hibiscus again.
