SIGMARINGEN, LE DERNIER REFUGE
September 1944. On Hitler's orders, the Vichy government flees to Sigmaringen, in Germany. The small town becomes France's "capital" in exile. Convinced that the Reich can still win the war, the French colony continues to fight and collaborate for eight months.
