About EJS
Elephant Jungle Sanctuary is an ethical and sustainable eco-tourism project based in Thailand. Founded in July 2014, it began as a joint initiative between members of the Karen hill-tribes of Northern Thailand and Chiang Mai locals who were concerned about the welfare of elephants in Thailand. We currently care for elephants at locations in 4 provinces throughout Thailand - Chiang Mai, Phuket, Pattaya, and Koh Samui.
Our hope is to lead by example and contribute to a positive change in the perception of elephants; to witness a future where elephants are not poached, ridden, overworked, or abused, and are instead treated with care, love, and respect.
Chiang Mai
We offer Half Day, Full Day, and Overnight Stay options to visit our sanctuary. You will be feeding, bathing and even playing with the elephants. It is also important to us that you learn as much as possible about the elephants and why it is important to protect them. Every program will join special program PE. (physical examination) to elephants.
Phuket
Visit Elephant Jungle Sanctuary Phuket, the first ever operational elephant Sanctuary in Phuket province. We offer Half Day, Full Day, and hourly options to visit our sanctuary. Explore the elephant's world with love and care for them.
Pattaya
Visit Elephant Jungle Sanctuary Pattaya, the first ever operational elephant sanctuary in Chonburi province.
Samui
Visit the newly established Elephant Jungle Sanctuary Samui, We offer Half Day program to visit our sanctuary.

The Care Project Foundation
A non-profit. The Care Project is aimed at doing extracurricular activities that either directly benefits the plight of domestic elephants, or, the communities where the elephants are being housed, i.e. schools, women empowerment programs, education program.
