Blackmagic Forum • View topic - RTMP and RTSP live streaming using ATEM TV Studio
We just bought ATEM TVS. We have our cameras connected to it. We would like to stream the camera's outputs as RTMP or RTSP to a WOWZA server. How can we do it? are there any instructions? Is it possible?
If on Windows... you can use MXLight (inexpensive software... google it).
If on MAC.. you MUST use another capture card/device (e.g. Ultrastudio Mini Recorder via Thunderbolt)along with one of the many available standard streaming software (e.g. Flash Media Live Encoder or Wirecast).

No you cannot (at least not without another capture device). The TVS's output on USB2 is not compatible with any standard streaming software. The original poster is using a TVS. What are you using? What extra capture device are you using?

Sorry for incomplete information. You can get the sdi output from Atem TVS and use another machine like PC or Mac with Blackmagic Decklink Studio. Then install software like Adobe FMLE (it's free), Telestream Wirecast (that I'm using rite now) etc to stream back to Wowza. You can see the setup that I'm doing rite now by click the link below.

It's free and working. This is how the way that I've been setup. WOWZA is same like Flash Media Server. But WOWZA is compatible to any device like PC, MAC, iOS, Android etc. That's why I've move on from Flash Media Server to WOWZA. You can take a look at my website.
