Dentons promotes three partners in Colombia
Dentons Cárdenas & Cárdenas has announced the appointment of Santiago Miramón, Laura Mateus and Paula Vejarano as new partners of the firm in the areas of Mergers and Acquisitions, Employment Law, and Litigation and Dispute Resolution, respectively.
Santiago Miramón (pictured left) is a lawyer graduated from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and holds a specialisation in Contracts and Legal Business from Universidad Externado and an LLM in Corporate and Securities Law from the London School of Economics. He joined the firm in 2017 and has been a corporate and M&A director of the firm since 2022.
Laura Mateus (pictured centre) is a lawyer graduated from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and a specialist in Labour Law from the same university. Laura has more than 10 years of professional experience. She has been with the firm since 2015 and is the firm’s Labour and Employment Director since 2022.
Paula Vejarano (pictured right) is a lawyer graduated from Universidad Externado, has a specialization in International Contracts from the same university and is a listed and qualified arbitrator of the Chamber of Commerce of Medellin and Cali. She joined the firm in 2017 and has been the firm’s head of Litigation and Arbitration since 2022.
