From Sacred Heart Academy Bryn Mawr

Founded in 1865, Sacred Heart Academy Bryn Mawr (SHA) is an independent, Catholic, K-12, Girls School located on the Main Line in suburban Philadelphia.

Small by design, SHA empowers students to reach their full potential academically, socially, and spiritually in an exceptionally caring community. We're also part of something larger: the Sacred Heart consortium of 150+ schools in 41 countries, connecting students to an international community, offering exchange and service programs.

At SHA, you'll find exclusive academic and enrichment programs including Lower School Multi-Age Classrooms, a robust Middle School Counseling Program, and Upper School Dual-Enrollment with three universities, among others.

We embrace the five Goals of a Sacred Heart education - faith, intellect, service, community, and growth - in all we do, and we foster a community that acts in the interests of equity and justice, welcoming students of all races, religious beliefs, and socio-economic backgrounds.
