2019年4月に訪問。日によって、シャッターが閉まっている店が多いので注意。最寄りの駅は高雄MRT後驛駅徒歩10分位。骨董品、釣具店、食事をする店もある。

多種の玉、石、工芸品、ビーズ、魅力、彫像、お茶ポットがありましが、翡翠が多かった感じで、意外と少なかったように思いました。値段もまちまちで日本語を少し話せる人もいました。玉の仕入れの都合上、水曜日の昼前ごろに行くのが店も多く良いと聞きました。私は台鉄の高雄駅から九如二路→自立二路を歩いていきました。（約１５分）
近くに自立二路を歩い行くとガソリンスタンドや高雄バスの「自立」駅があり、
その先に市場があります。

Unless you know how to purchase jade I would not recommend. Normally they expect haggling and there initial price is very high. Everything else they sold there you can get cheaper at night market.

If you’re looking for a wide variety of Jade, this is a must place to visit. This place has hundreds of vendors with a wide selection of Jade and Jade pieces.

This looks like a wholesale Jade market for southern part of Taiwan. All kinds of Jade, stones, artifacts, beads, charm, statues, tea pots are all for sale. If you are a tourist even a Chinese, they sure can tell so will be the prices. There are the real stuffs, good one or the process one and what can be done...all from China mostly.
Mass produce stuffs are really nice and some of it are good buy. Speak to most of them and they are most willing to share their knowledge. The big thing here is you must BARGAIN.
One of the biggest Jade market I have seen.
Most busy and best to go on Wednesday as most stores will be open.

This place has a very good range of jade items, everything you can think of / want. FYI My taxi driver recons its only open on Wednesday and Thursdays

This Jade market does not get noticed by foreigners often and I am surprised at this. What a great way to spend a few hours, prices vary and for as little at $3.00 usd you can leave with a little treasure. Spend more on a real carving and get a life time treasure.

I went with my daughter to this huge market with such a great selection of jade, different colours, grades, jewellery, idols, amulets, carvings, etc. Plus a variety of different stones, coins, other metal and precious metal stalls, as well as a vintage market within - used and antiques. Stalls set up inside and out. The market is open Wednesday thru Sunday. Vendors are all very kind, try to communicate and will answer questions as well as they can. It was a typically warm day, but not too hot inside, but it was mid-morning.

Many individuals selling their jade wares inside a large building and all around the outside. I'm not familiar with buying jade but I thought the prices were reasonable. I bought three items to put on chains for necklaces and when I got home I had them checked to see if they were genuine jade - they are. Everyone weighed the pieces to determine the price.
I thought it was a fun thing to do while staying in Kaohsiung and a good place to go to buy gifts for friends.
