I stayed in a cabin called "Tree House" it was so quiet and the surroundings were lovely. I was looking for a quiet place and I found it there. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Everything was provided ( with the exception of food ). I would highly recommend this place to anyone who just wants to get away and relax. Gatlinburg is about 10 min away if you want to go into town and do a little shopping. My boyfriend and I are going back at the end of April. I`m really looking forward to going again.

When we arrived at Frog Hollow we were impressed, the cabin is really nice and cozy, and they had it all decked out for Christmas.
The problem started as soon as we turned up the Heater. We started sneezing and our eyes started to bother us like from being in a really dusty area. When we went outside we were fine but inside it was bad. My wife and my sons girlfriend tried mopping up the dust from the floor twice but it just came back. Under the beds and couch was really bad, there was old socks from a previous guest, lots of dirt and debris and even a decaying marshmallow. When we moved one of the beds, the grill to the air vent fell off and I stuck my hand down inside to find it. The airduct was so packed with dust, dirt and pet hair, that it blew all out into the room and all over me. It looked like the inside of a vacum cleaner bag. We even went to Wal-Mart and bought a HEPA air purifier to try and make it through the night . My son got so sick he was sneezing 20 to 30 times in a row. so we just threw everything in the truck and had to leave a day early. I called Dan Cramer and his response was that he would let the owner of the cabin know about it, and the next time he would give us one free night. I gave this rating 2 stars because it really was a nice cabin...just not cleaned well.

Cramers Creekside Cabins, Inc. is a company revolved around achieving 100% customer satisfaction. As stated on our website, “All measures will be taken to provide all the comforts of home to make your stay as comfortable as possible”, we among many others believe we do what it takes to keep complete satisfaction with all of our cabin renters. Unfortunately, in this situation we seemed to have not achieved this. All of our cabins, other than Frog Hollow, are cleaned and maintained by our certified in-house cleaning company to insure the quality of maintenance. Frog Hollow is our only owner maintained cabin. Although this is no excuse for jwf327’s inconvenience, with all due respect, Cramers Creekside Cabins, Inc. was not given the opportunity to correct the problems or the situation. On the rare occasion that a guest is not satisfied with their cabin, Cramers Creekside Cabins, Inc. is more than happy to rectify the situation, so the guests can continue their vacation. Yes, we were contacted by jwf327 about the issues at Frog Hollow, but it was not until the renters were on their way back home a day prior to check out. We were never contacted about the situation during the guests stay. We would have gladly done everything in our power to resolve the situation so jwf327 and family would enjoy the remainder of their stay. To insure future guest satisfaction we have corrected 100% of all the inconveniences that jwf327 stated and have continued to improve all of our future guests stay. We also have a 24 hour on call desk to make sure that our guest can contact us for any emergencies in their cabin throughout the night. Our company is family owned and operated and we our driven each and every day to improve our customer service, insure a quality vacation, and guarantee100% customer satisfaction. We are very thankful for all of the guests that have stayed with us and look forward to providing many other unforgettable vacations in the Great Smoky Mountains.

My family and I loved our Christmas vacation last year in "Country Life" so much that we decided to spend our Christmas in a Cramer cabin again this year! This Christmas we stayed in the cabin named "Creekside Heaven" and is was beautiful! It is probably one of the nicest cabins my family has stayed at in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. It is only 30 minutes away from Gatlinburg (and you get to take all the backroads in, which eliminates traffic). The cabin itself is gorgeous and is nestled right alongside Cosby Creek. The cabin was extremely clean, well maintained, and cozy. Some bonuses were the screened in porch, the nice television, the modern kitchen, and the low price. My entire family enjoyed the much needed vacation, including our two Pembroke Welsh Corgis! I would recommend this cabin any day!

We spent 9 nights at the Moonshine Manor 6/2014. The staff were very easy to deal with and actually let us check in early. We showed up over prepared as the cabin was filled with everything we could of possibly needed. Very hot week when we were there, but really good AC kept things cool. The closets were filled with the games for the kids, and candles for the front porch. The kitchen was very well stocked with every utensil you could of possibly needed. The Hot tub overlooking the mountains was amazing way to spend the night after hiking all over Gatlinburg all day. Very quiet with hardly anyone around made for some very peaciful nights by the fire .
If your visiting Gatlinburg , & Pigeon Forge areas its about a 30 to 40 min drive, so plan accordingly.
My only real complaint was upon arrival there were wasps nested above both front and back doors. However they had wasp spray in the closet so we dispersed of them quickly. We purchased some firewood from some locals and it turned out to be more than we needed. I hope some one got to enjoy it .
Great place great people , can't go back

Moonshine Manor...10 private acres, great views and pet friendly. A winning combo. As far as the wasps are concerned, pest control companies are not responsible for flying insects, they can only treat once they start nest building which happens quite quickly. That is the reason we try to keep each cabin stocked with wasp spray for those rare instances. Remember as a return guest you receive an automatic 10% discount off the rental rate. Also during Off Peak and mid seasons it is always a good idea to call to see what additional discounts maybe available at that time. Thanks for staying with Cramers Creekside Cabins, Inc.

Our stay at the Sweet Life cabin was very enjoyable and more importantly relaxing. Enjoying our cup of coffee with the running stream practically in our backyard is very soothing. It was clean, well taken care of and well managed. The 45 min drive into Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg is something you need to be aware of. However, I didn't mind this at all since the absence of traffic was a nice change. On a special note, I did call about staying an extra day and I obviously caught the manager either off or unavailable and he was very helpful and pleasant. He promptly called me the next day to inquire further. Also, be sure to rent directly from the Cramers Site to take advantage of any discounts. Bottom Line: We plan to rent from these folks again in August.

Thank you for your kind review. Positive or negative feedback is always welcomed. Remember when you are a return guest with Cramers Creekside Cabins you will receive a 10% discount off the rental rate. The cabin Sweet Life is located in Cosby "The Quiet Side of the Smokies" right on Cosby Creek. Awesome trout fishing year round. The drive to Gatlinbubrg is approximately 25 minutes via scenic Hwy 321. However, Pigeon forge is approximately 45 minutes +/- depending on which route you may choose all of which are scenic with lots of things to see and do along the way. There are several routes to go directly to Pigeon Forge missing the Gatlinburg traffic all together. We encourage all of our guests to contact us for directions to different areas and attractions to make the trip as short as possible and also avoid construction delays. For more testimonials about our cabins please visit our website. Thank You and we are looking forward to your next visit with Cramers Creekside Cabins, Inc.

After a lot of research we decided to try out Cramer's Creekside Cabins and we couldn't have been happier. We stayed in Country Life and it was nicely decorated and the smell of pine lingered throughout the cabin. The grounds were well kept and the creek behind the cabin was a nice bonus. Next time we travel up to eastern Tennessee we'll be sure to stay here again.

We stayed in Country Life for 4 nights for a relaxing Christmas vacation with our 2 dogs. The cabin was beautiful, clean, and appropriately decorated in a country theme. The cabin looks just like the website, and I would say that it looks even better than the pictures showed! The location was great, the only other two houses in sight are the cabin "Sweet Life" and one other house. The cabin was only a short walk away from a Cosby Creek, which was beautiful. You are only a short drive away from Gatlinburg as well. Dan Cramer was also a pleasure to deal with! I also must say that for only $105 a night on a holiday, the cabin was a deal! My family and I have stayed in the Gatlinburg area many times before and have rented many cabins, and this company definitely ranks as one of the best!

Very nice cabin but felt we were mislead on location and seclusion, although it had DirecTv, only local and very limited channels. Not one single ESPN.

We rented a cabin on Ball Creek Road. In the weeks leading up to the trip we realized the wather might get iffy so we called the company, not once but three times, to ask about the roads leading to the cabin and if there was bad weather if they would be passable. They assured us that the climb to the cabin was gradual, when we arrived we found out that it was anything but gradual. A four-wheel drive truck lost traction multiple times on the steep climbs and the roads were dry. There was dense fog one night and the road was almost impassable and there were only limited guard rails protecting vehicles from the steep drops. When we arrived at the cabin three of the five people in our group were car sick and we were all nervous about the drive to the cabin. When we opened the cabin door we were greeted with a must and mildew smell, no doubt locked into the old furniture. The furniture was uncomfortable and the beds kept us from getting a good night's sleep. The toilets in the bathrooms are so low to the ground we compared it to using a child's training potty. There was something nasty growing under the sink in the kitchen. The electronics that did work were not worth the trouble of using and the remotes in the bedrooms didn't work and there was no working DVD player. The real kicker was that even though we paid for housekeeping services, we still had to take our own trash to the county dump. Our stay was anything but comfortable. There is a hot tub but there's no way I would recommend getting in it because of the sanitation issues with the cabin. We've stayed in cabins in and around Gatlinburg for years and this is by far the worst experience we've had.

Either your vehicle was not locked in 4wd or your driving skills have a lot to be desired if you lost traction in a 4wd on a dry day. There is only one spot where your tires may spin a little on dry day in a 2wd vehicle . The road is a modern 2 lane asphalt road paved all the way to the cabin, even the driveway is paved. Our housekeepers drive mini vans and regular sedans and have no problem. The cabin was professionally cleaned and inspected the day of your arrival as was the hot tub. Our hot tubs are drained, sanitized and refilled after each check out. The toilets are standard size toilets. We did receive a calls from one of the guests stating they could not find the remote. I offered to deliver a new DVD player and the guest hung up me. I had spoken to the same guest again and he was quite rude. Housekeeping located the remote for the DVD player sitting on the end table. We require guests to remove trash to a convenient center not far from the cabin (NOT the county dump) for their safety. As trash left out will attract bears, coyotes, raccoons and other wild animal that could cause injury to our guests. If you come to the Smoky MOUNTAINS expect to do some mountain driving.

The cabin was exactly how it was advertised and just what I was looking for. It was secluded, clean and cozy. My host was on point with every need or question that I had. I hope to return soon and highly recommend to others who want to getaway and rejuvenate.
