Carpenter steps down as Head Women’s Basketball Coach at D3 Lancaster Bible

Lancaster Bible College Women’s Basketball Head Coach Ryan Carpenter is stepping away from the program after just one season with the Chargers.

In his short tenure Carpenter led the Chargers to an 8-17 overall record and 6-6 conference record finishing the regular season in fifth place and clinching a spot in postseason play. The Chargers lost to St. Mary’s (Md.) in the first round, 85-69. Carpenter and the Chargers received two all-conference selections in seniors Alaysha Iwais and Jenna Dombach.

“Lancaster Bible College appreciates the time and commitment invested in our program,” says Director of Athletics Rod Baughman. “We wish him and his family the best moving forward.”

The search for the new Head Women’s Basketball Coach will be begin promptly.
