I love museums and this gem is no exception. Housed in an old British building, the collection spans across the people who live in the area. A very strong Buddhist collection.

    Plan to spend the day.

The best part of Khyber Pass is yet to come. The military there is developing a series of museums at the colonial area mountain posts of Ali Masjid, Landikotal and Michni.

It gets hot in summers, try getting there in Spring time or winters.

This bazar has got historical significance,as by the name it is clear that there use to be traditional story tellers, which use to stay in the inns to tell stories to the caravans arriving from central asian republics.

Fascinating. You can visit two houses, one is informal and the tour given by family members who still live there. However, one house is a formal museum and has been expertly renovated and the director gives excellent and comprehensive tours in English if need be. You’ll pay extra for taking photos but it’s worth it.

The majestic mountains of Hindukush offer great views along with trekking/climbing to adventure lovers.
These treks could be followed in Chitral and I'd recommend Terichmir base camp in Chitral.
