Meagan Navarro Bloody Disgusting It's a strong debut by Weekes and nails the essential part of a horror movie: the horror. Rated: 3.5/5 Feb 2, 2021 Full Review Tim Grierson Screen International The film has much to say about grief, guilt, assimilation and the on-going refugee crisis. And on top of all that, it's also a nifty nerve-jangler. Feb 2, 2021 Full Review Robert Daniels Polygon His House is a terrifying debut that breathes a fresh voice into the haunted-house subgenre. Feb 2, 2021 Full Review Elisa Guimarães Collider His House is a Netflix horror film that goes beyond supernatural scares, exploring themes of grief, guilt, and the struggle to belong. Jan 29, 2024 Full Review Justin Brown Medium Popcorn I very much enjoyed this...it's not exactly a horror film the way it was advertised but it was well paced and executed. It's definitely a conversation starter with it's themes on pain and grief. Rated: 3/5 Oct 15, 2023 Full Review Brandon Collins Medium Popcorn Very solid performances and incredible cinematography in a film that is terrifying but on a deep, emotional level. Audience Member Solid horror, really well executed, creepy in the right ways, and not overdrawn or overdone. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/20/24 Full Review Marcelo M Definitely not the regular horror movie out there. This one gets you to a different and intriguing world of refugees and the scares are few and we'll placed. You're hooked by the story as it builds tension. Acting is great and story arc is great too. Don't expect the best horror film ever but a different experience through the gente. Worth watching if you're not looking for the regular horror clichês. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/19/24 Full Review Nicholas C Not only was this a terrible movie, but for some reason, rotten tomatoes did not allow me to get to this rating very fast. That leads me to believe that they want this to be at a higher rating than it really is. There was no acting and it was a terrible movie. Overall, don't waste your money or your time. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/16/24 Full Review Richard H Slow, not scary, poor Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/27/24 Full Review Tim K Absolutely horse cock Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/27/24 Full Review G M Terrible film. Acting was bland and uninspiring. Nothing about it was scary. Tension was meek at best. Avoid. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/20/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
