All three of these were impossible to put down, with great character development and interesting plot twists. Three of my favorite MHC of all time!

The first book in the title, “Weep No More, My Lady,” was fun, light reading—a classic romantic suspense novel. I also thought of it as travel/adventure reading because of the way the setting on California’s Monterey Peninsula was fully developed and exploited to good effect by the author. Most of the action takes place at a spa that caters to the super rich. There are lush descriptions of the atmosphere, such as the evening fog that comes in off the water or the cypress trees that look deformed and menacing at night but beautiful during the day. I’m looking forward to reading more by this author.

Stillwatch and A Cry in the Night are my favorite MHC books so far. Stillwatch made me cross my fingers for a happy ending, but A Cry in the Night was so creepy that I had to finish before going to sleep!!

I actually only read A Cry in the Night from this 3-novel book, but will get to the other two eventually.
That said, I really enjoyed this entry from the mistress of suspense, she has the dark foreshadowing down pat! While you will want to yell often to the heroine"Knock knock puddin' head! Wake up and smell the coffee!", it's all part of the devious plan. Just sit back and let it happen, the twists are worth the wait.

This was about the first book I ever read after I was married. It is the one that got me into reading and hooked on Mary Higgins Clark forever.
