The market was jammed with people on their "off day - Thursday". That is a good thing if you enjoy the energy of a flea market and enjoyment that dealers are actually making money. After all, we should hope they do well in order for them to return year-after-year.

My concern is that there aren't the controls to prevent a regrettable visit to this great flea market. I would have expected that the dealers and customers would wear their face coverings and respect social distancing. I should have taken pictures because it was a scary experience, both the customers and dealers appeared to disregard this health control measure.

I called the Columbus Farmers Market phone number and they immediately hung up when I started to explain the lack of discipline in following health guidelines.

If you are concerned about the lack of controls...I strongly suggest that you look elsewhere for treasures and bargains until this health situation is in better controlled.

I LOVE this flea market and feel awful that I write a Negative review but I am concerned.

we live east of the market and were passing by on our way home from a trip to PA. Let's support the locals! So we stopped and popped in to the Market. Must say I want to go back again real soon for an outing of shopping! I DID grabbed 2 very large pumpkins AND a great basket of apples (making that pie!) . When I do get back there I plan to have a nice meal at the Amish Market - looked and smelled SO GOOD! This whole place will take a half a day to shop - everyone leaves carrying a bag! Check it out!

Go elsewhere unless you want to get or give Covid-19

This is about the outside market...after going there I didn't have the courage to go to the inside shops. I was told that the Amish Market was OK.
No social distancing
Large number people (including dealers) no masks
People bumping into one another it was so crowded
No spacial separating of tables despite open areas available for separation.
Tried to phone my complaint to their main phone number and after a couple of words they hung up.

I pray you stay away.

The best outdoor flea market hands down...... on a Sunday, if the weather is nice there can be over 1000 vendors (also open on Thursday & Saturday). You can almost literally find anything out there - antiques, vintage toys, local honey, street tacos, records, yard sale stuff, house clean-outs, wholesale clothing....

We went on a Saturday, mainly for the Amish market. The meats I thought were pricey. The baked goods are where it’s at. We left with quite a few things from there. The people are the sweetest and most helpful.

We then decided to walk around the other areas. This place is a typical flea market. Inside was clean but we did not use the restrooms. Outside, you have made in China, fell off the back of a truck type goods. Strange things, strange people ect. Everyone selling basically the same things...over and over. Treasures are supposedly found on Thursday and Sunday here. Shoppers were happily walking the aisles getting their goods and bargains. Simply Just not for me. The food vendors looked pretty good and reasonably priced.

While the Amish market is the gem here for me, it was concerning the lack of social distancing by shoppers and the masks the workers there were wearing. They didn’t have the bottom secure, like what’s the point of that? There was no crowd control and it was getting packed as we were leaving. Overall it’s worth a look, it’s all a personal preference type of thing. It’s either for you or not. I’d go back for the Amish market but that’s about it.

I’ve been going to the Columbus market for over 50 years. It’s always a treat. The veggie stands are outstanding as is the fish market. The inside bakery and butcher shops are great. Love the ribs. Nice people and great service. If you haven’t been you are missing out.

Hands-down the best Amish market in New Jersey. Great food, pastries, candy, plus hot foods you can take home, Butcher, and cheeses. They also have fresh fruit and vegetables plus a complete meat market.Plus a complete flea market with everything that you would want

We went Saturday and Sunday. Sunday is definitely the day to go!! Old stuff, new stuff, lots of food! I guess people like Saturday for the Amish part of the market but we didn’t care about that part. Wear comfortable shoes. If you’re from out of state like us…bring shopping bags because NJ doesn’t allow any bags in stores, the flea market, or grocery stores.

I love this market. I buy good wine here. You can taste up to 5 local wines at Venzanno’s. You can buy veggies and fruits in the huge produce market.
You can buy Italian foods. There is fish and seafood available also. My favorite store is
the Amish market. They have everything you can imagine including homeade donuts and BBQ.
Plan on spending most of the day. It’s pretty packed so go late in the day to get a parking spot.

We enjoy visiting this flea market on Sundays, because the outside tables are usually all filled with vendors wanting to bargain and haggle. The Amish aren't there on Sundays, but their items are way overpriced, and of similar quality as our local Shop-Rite, so it's really not worth the trip for us on Saturdays. There is some junk, especially a fair share of "Made in China" junk (iPhone and tech accessories and sub-par socks, imposter perfumes, etc) at the tables closer to the buildings, but we just walk right past those tables and head for the back, were the mom and pop vendors cleaned out their attics/garages, and are trying to make a buck. We've purchased glass doorknobs and hardware, picture frames, tools, books, vintage jewelry, fishing poles and reels, LP albums...you name it! We also make a point of visiting the Farmers Markets for some produce. We have the best luck shopping at the produce market closest to Rt 206.
