Amazing experience and views from Victoria Peak. The tram goes up and down the track, in between the buildings which is quite spectacular in itself, but the views are awesome leading up to reaching the top. If you pay a little extra, you can also access the Sky Terrace which is an observation platform from the top of the tower which overlooks Hong Kong. Price inclusive of the Tram and Sky Terrace was around £17 per adult, return ticket. Would recommend, probably the highlight of the trip, and you’ll capture some spectacular photos. Will go again next time we visit Hong Kong. They have a quirky candy shop at the peak that sells some rather cute stuff too, including mini Tik Tacs which was a novelty when given as a gift to fellow workmates and friends.

Really excellent place to visit. It's hard to described how impactful it is to be there looking up at the big buddha. The monastery was also quiet lovely. There is a more touristy area outside the monastery area where you can dine and there are many souvenir shops to browse. But the monastery and the Buddha are the highlights. Wear comfortable shoes and be ready to walk up a lot of stairs if you want to go up to the top!

1 day was not enough to explore Disneyland.
Be there before they open the rides and we were there around 10:10am.
They have great performances/ show that you won't like to miss. I do recomend you to download the disney app, waiting time from each rides will be shown in the app. The newly opened "Frozen" rides and show is a must try! take note that everything has timings not all rides operates till evening.
Foods inside is a bit expensive, but in our situation that day, we don't have time to eat because we're trying to ride everything and watch all performances/ show that they have but unfortunately in the end of the day, i guess we only missed 2 rides.
Fireworks in the evening is worth waiting for! It will start at 8:30PM so you have to look for a good spot!

Due to land scarcity in the city, the only option is to build up. Thus the high rise buildings for residential and commercial uses came about. During the day, it is nice to walk along the promenade and watch the skyline; much better after sun set when it gets cooler and buildings got lighted.

The trams are so fun to ride on.
They have an extensive network on the HK island and you can gat around economically and see some great sights.
Would recommend you buy at Octopus Card (travel card) it costs HK$200 and includes HK$150 credit.
This can be used on ferries/trams/buses and trains. Plus can be used at most stores in HK to purchase food and other items.

Spectacular Chinese garden next to Chi Lin Nunnery. The garden here is beautiful and meticulously maintained which examples of various plants, ponds, bonsai, rocks, traditional wood craft and joinery, etc. It is large enough to be worth the trip, but not so large that it would require an entire day to see. It is easily paired with the nunnery right across the street for a day or half day outing. Also a great place for some unique gifts and souvenirs.

I was here for the night view and light show, the view are nice but not worth to wait for the light show at all.
Anyway, walking along the harbor was great but a bit crowded if you want to take a good photo.

A lengthy cable car ride with sensational views. Unfortunately for us, we climbed into cloud halfway up, but we still had some fantastic views on the lower part of the run. It's a great way start your trip to see the Big Buddha

Interesting destination for both the young and elderly. Visited with my 80+ friend and my 9 year and 14 year old grandchildren. There wasn’t long queues for any of the rides or other amusements and there were rides suitable for all age groups to go on together. As well as the amusements there was an aquarium and a small zoo. We also enjoyed the great view from the included chairlift ride.

The Chi Lin Nunnery was a very surprising highlight to our trip. I thought it was be interesting to go, but it was absolutely stunning and probably somewhere I would go back to over and over. It was incredibly peaceful and tranquil. The buildings and grounds were immaculate and beautiful.

No visit to Hong Kong is complete without visiting Lantau. Easy access from HK by metro. It has several attractions such as Big Budha, Po Lin Monastery, the fishing village of Tai O, not to mention Honk Kong Disneyland. Except for Disney, you can visit everything in one morning
