Obituary

Nancy Diranian-Paloian, devoted mother of Andrea and Adam Paloian and loving wife of Michael Paloian, passed away on Sunday, April 21, at 11:04 PM.  Nancy was born on April 10th, 1954, in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of the late Hiram and Lucille Diranian, sister of Richard Diranian and his wife Karen and Kenneth Diranian and his husband Charles Sexton-Diranian, sister-in-law of Regina Arcement and her husband Larry, and aunt of Alexa, Melissa, and Lindsey Diranian, and Lauren and Danielle Arcement.

Nancy battled breast cancer for six long years. She was diagnosed in 2018 during major spine surgery and was given two years to live. Her will, tenacity, and determination enabled her to survive that prediction threefold. Her faith in God gave her extraordinary strength. Despite multiple surgeries, countless hospital visits, and various treatment regimens, she never stopped living her life.

For over twenty years, Nancy was a successful fashion designer responsible for hundreds of millions of dollars in women's garments. She designed for prestigious companies such as Jones New York and Macy’s and eventually began her private label, Kazmel. She traveled the world to develop world-class sportswear and forged many friendships along the way.

After a 20-year career in fashion, Nancy decided to stay home to spend more time with her two children, Adam and Andrea. She was a devoted mother who advocated tirelessly for her children, showing them unwavering love and support.

Nancy was beloved by many. She built a circle of life-long friends who treasured her warmth, perception, and loyalty. She is remembered for her generosity, thoughtfulness, and kindness.

Above all, Nancy was a devoted wife and loving partner to her husband, Michael. She supported him throughout their 38-year marriage and all of life's hardships and triumphs. Her unbounded love and understanding formed the bedrock of their life together. She will forever be in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. May she forever rest in peace with God.
