46% Tomatometer 28 Reviews 81% Audience Score Fewer than 50 Ratings Somewhere between MI5, MI6 and the malfunctioning third-floor printer at the U.K.'s labyrinthine Government Communications Headquarters, an arrogant, maverick NSA liaison arrives from the U.S. to join a ragtag bureaucracy of cybersecurity misfits. With all the swagger of John Wayne and none of the substance, the Yankee liaison enlists the help of a junior systems analyst in a workplace power grab. It's a move that threatens to upend the team's directives -- if only it weren't miraculously, possibly completely coincidentally, leading to actual crisis aversion. From a cat lady and former Nobel Prize nominee with a graying head of witch-like hair to a notorious hacker whose first pet was a wolf named Wolf, the unpolished experts at GCHQ thrive under Jerry's assumed authority while nerding out over dinosaur pencil toppers and cryptocurrency. John Doyle Globe and Mail If you're a connoisseur of British spy dramas you will find some of the jokes very amusing. Sep 11, 2020 Full Review Kelly Lawler USA Today The series, which has already aired in the U.K., is an attempt at a cringe comedy but can't find any humor in its awkward, tasteless jokes, and no amount of scenery chewing from Schwimmer can save it. Jul 16, 2020 Full Review Ben Travers indieWire Most of the characters, including Joseph and the pre-existing staff, are presented as so inept you have to wonder how they've kept their jobs, and yet they still somehow manage to complete the complicated work put in front of them. How? Rated: C- Jul 16, 2020 Full Review James Croot Stuff.co.nz The six-part series is only a fitfully funny. Jun 8, 2021 Full Review Matt Cabral Common Sense Media Despite promise and great cast, just another office sitcom. Rated: 3/5 Aug 7, 2020 Full Review Joel Keller Decider It takes chutzpah to marry the traditional workplace comedy to the ubiquitous spy genre. Jul 16, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Ashley W Great show, hilarious take on typical intergovernmental exchanges. Like the office for intelligence agencies Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 11/30/23 Full Review Jonathan H This show is incredibly silly but also incredibly funny. You've never seen David Schwimmer as over-the-top and hilarious as he is in this show! All the other actors/characters are pretty good, too, especially Nick Mohammed (best known from Ted Lasso). Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Love this silly comedy. It's great to see someone as famous as David sign up for an off the cuff crazy show like this. It's so likeable. I enjoy every episode. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member i do not know what to say i was completely flabbergasted by the lack of humor that i in my astonishment saw several episodes in a row just to see if it would become present at any point but nothing. the "everybody is an idiot" has been done successfully lots of times and i'm a sucker for slapstick and "stupid" humor but this is so amazingly dull and joke-less - the only time i laughed was when i realized the jokes would never come - my advise they should do some research Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member It was fine but not breaking any boundaries just a slapstick humour style show with tons of one liners. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member It was poorly written and very weak acting. I didn't know that David Schwimmer is that bad at acting. Also, Nick Mohammed also missed the mark on every episode. It's like watching a mediocre acting student doing poor improv. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
