‘Farmer Wants a Wife’ Update: Which Couples Are Still Together?

The reunion show of "Farmer Wants a Wife" will air on May 16, who will reveal they are still together?

Four farmers from across the country are searching for love. Five women, also from all across the country, join each of the four bachelors on their respective farms for several weeks to submerge themselves in the lifestyle and see if a connection can be made.

Unlike other popular dating shows, the farmers are not required to eliminate a lady each week. Like farming, the show goes on its own schedule. Another unique feature is that either the farmer or one of the women can decide the match hasn't been made at any time.

Parallel to season one, three out of the four farmers have found a connection. In season one, though, none of those connections lasted, and in the end, the farmers were still alone.

Let's examine each farmer and who they selected before the reunion show reveals more of the ending:

Ty Ferrell

From Sikeston, Missouri, Ferrell is a 42-year-old team roper who runs a 50-acre ranch. He also puts on team ropings with an array of beautiful awards.

Ferrell is divorced and has a 12-year-old daughter. In the early days of the show, he was clear that was looking for someone to spend his days with, but that the person would have to win the approval of his daughter first.

That approval happened when Lennon gave her blessing to her dad for two different ladies - Megan Lay and Melody Fernandez.

Despite the approval stamp, Ferrell ultimately chose to remain alone.  The choice was a shock for many viewers who had already decided Megan would be the one to get his bid.

Reports have been circling that Ty's meeting with Megan's mom may have sealed the deal and caused him to walk away from what looked like a strong mutual connection.

Brandon Rogers

The 29-year-old Center, Colorado, man is a second-generation potato and barley farmer with a 1,000-acre farm.

After getting his degree and returning to the family farm, Rogers felt like he had his business in order and was just lacking the long-lasting love of a woman.

Narrowing the field to two: Grace Girard, a communications associate from Caledonia, Wisconsin, and Emerson Sears, a college counselor from Elkhart, Iowa.

Viewers knew that Rogers had a connection with the last two ladies, but there was a pretty special date early on in the season with Grace, and that is who got Brandon's final approval bid.

Now, we will have to wait and see how things are working out during the reunion show.

Mitchell Kolinsky

A first-generation farmer from Mount Juliet, Tennessee, Kolinsky has a lot to offer the woman of his dreams. With three dogs and a log cabin, he was looking for the perfect lady to join him in pursuing his goals.

Two ladies seem to have connected with Kolinsky during the filming. Kait Smith, a social media coordinator from Los Angeles, and Sydney Error, a construction worker from Sweetwater, New Jersey, were both present until the end.

After the visits with the families, Mitchell selected Sydney. While it may seem that the competition would be fierce and a little cutthroat, that was not the case for these two ladies. Reports say that the two have become best friends, and regardless of who he chooses, they will remain that way.

The burning question is, "Are they still together?" Well, in an interview with Taste of Country, Kolinksy dropped a major clue, "maybe in a couple of years, there'll be a wedding."

Now who knows what that is referring to, but viewers can hope and tune into the reunion to get the full report.

Nathan Smothers

The youngest of the bachelors, at just 23 years old, Smothers is a citrus and cattle farmer from Bartow, Florida. He has about 300 acres with access to another 500 that have been in his family for over four generations.

Like the other farmers, the ultimate choice came down to two: Taylor BeDell, a hairstylist from Dallas, Texas, and Allye Wright, a digital marketing specialist from Tucson, Arizona.

No one was surprised when Smothers announced to Taylor that he was "falling in love with you." After their one-on-one date, little question remained whether the two had hit it off.

The "giddy" couple is one everyone wants to see work out. Hopefully, there will be a good report during the reunion show.

The reunion show will broadcast on FOX on May 16, 2024, at 10 PM ET. You can also view it on Hulu, Fubo TV, and Sling TV.
