Victoria Justice Breaks Her Silence On Dan Schneider Allegations & 'Quiet On Set' Docu-Series

Victoria Justice is speaking out for the first time about the Dan Schneider allegations and the Quiet On Set documentary series.

The 31-year-old actress and “Raw” singer got her big break on Nickelodeon, starring in Dan Schneider-created shows like Zoey 101 and her own starring musical series, Victorious.

While she has remained mum on all that has gone on in the past couple of months, Victoria broke her silence in a new cover feature interview with Marie Claire.

“Something that was very evident in the documentary is that Dan had a very large ego, and sometimes that ego clouded his better judgment and affected the way he treated people, and there were times I felt like I was being treated unfairly,” Victoria told the mag about Quiet On Set.

In an interview following the docu-series’ release, Dan mentioned, “I definitely owe some people a pretty strong apology.”

Victoria responded to that, saying, “I would say I’m definitely one of the people on that list.”

While the Victorious actress also condemned his behavior, she admits her relationship with Dan is “complex.”

“I’m not condoning any of his behavior. At the end of the day, my relationship with Dan is a very complex one: I met him when I was 12 years old, and he’s the person that gave me this big break,” Victoria shared with Marie Claire. “He completely changed my life. Most likely I wouldn’t be here where I am today if it weren’t for him, and for him seeing something in me. For that I will always be grateful.”

“After watching his apology, I think he recognizes that he did a lot of things wrong, and I think if he could step back into a time machine, he would do a lot of things differently,” she added.

Victoria also talked about her music career, her drive to make music again, being an independent artist and more. Check out her full interview at MarieClaire.com!
