Put in room that door did not close. Front desk said maintenance reported issue repaired. Did not have another handicap room available but a room they showed us did have rails in the shower and a low shower ban which met my wife's needs,

The staff was very nice which I find very important. However, the room was dirty..breakfast was good.
The pillows are old and full of knots.The location is convenient and price point not excessive. The room is cute in my opinion. I just wish I didn't have to be concerned with how clean it may or may not be. They can certainly do better. Running a vacuum through the halls would be a great improvement. We all want businesses to be successful. The business has to want it too.

Very nice interior design. However the fold out sofa looked like 10 elephants sat on it at one time. Definitely needs to be replaced for it was dingy. Loved the separate bedroom and closet space. Hall carpet shoudl be replaced. Thin walls and heard conversations, but got great sleep despite this. Mattress and pillows were super comfy. Mold build up in bathroom corner panels and shower - The bathroom and living areas were in need of a deep cleaning. Hotel was difficult to find because it is not on a major street. The road that you initially turn on to get to the hotel, does not have a name. Overall, I would give the hotel 6/10.

We were disappointed from our first step into the hallway. The floors were very dirty—not just stained, but trash and food debris (chips or crackers) were all over the carpet. The smell of cigarette smoke in our non-smoking room was so strong. We had booked a king suite intending for our daughter to sleep on the chaise lounge/sofa. The cushions on the sofa were filthy and there was an unnatural amount of trash underneath the cushions. We immediately asked for a different room, which was granted and the second room was decent and considerably cleaner (which is why the rating is poor instead of terrible). This hotel is obviously newer or has recently been remodeled, but very basic housekeeping tasks (vacuuming, wiping of surfaces) are severely neglected. The overall atmosphere seems more like there are people living here long-term, smoking in rooms at their leisure, and no one is cleaning house.

I first want to start off by saying I booked through Expedia. Expedia booked the wrong room( I had email confirmation that we booked a queen bed, Expedia booked two wins beds) so when I addressed this to the front desk, I was immediately moved into the correct room. However, I get to the third floor and this “non smoking” hotel, wreaked of smoke. We got to our room and noticed something on the ground in front of the door, it was marijuana. We then walk into the room and are blown away by another strange odor from the room. The floors were sticky and he ac was not working properly. I ended up going to wal mart and purchased new sheets, a new blanket, cleaning supplies and air freshener to make our stay more bearable as due to COVID 19, the hotel was not taking any refunds and we had pre-paid. Mistake #1.

Looks are deceiving! Outside is nice, lobby is clean and well put together. Got checked in for one night, got the room key for a second floor king room. We were greeted with the smell of cigarettes/porta-john/Lysol smell. The floor was completely covered with trash/debris. Checked the bathroom, the toilet paper had been recently used.. not even changed from the previous people who used the room. The toilet paper roll was more than half used. Our bed looked like someone had already been sleeping it in/no kind of changing of bedding. (Is what it looked like at least). The floor in the room had dirt all over it and huge hair balls from someone half ass sweeping it. The chair by the window area had food crumbs all in it. Didn’t even look liked it was attempted to be cleaned. Was able to cancel our room and refunded our money. When canceling the lady at the front desk didn’t even ask us why we wanted a refund. The other lady working with her seen her typing up stuff while canceling our room and asked, “how do you know that”? Then the lady who was canceling our stuff stated to her, “I just know that’s the reasoning” To me that’s terrible that you know why people are canceling their stay when you can’t even ask why. Definitely do not recommend this place.

This hotel was filthy. I booked for two nights while traveling cross country and regretted it as soon as I walked in the front door. The carpets throughout the hotel were dirty disgusting and stained. The floors in my room were dirty, sticky & gross shoes were a must in the room. I went to the front desk and told the desk clerk (a middle eastern woman) that my floor was extremely dirty and in need of a cleaning, I also mentioned the trash was overflowing in the halls (which was obvious ) A house keeper later came in with a dry mop and a squirt bottle, she did a 35 second wipe down over the floor, which did nothing. The bottom of my sock were black in no time. The sink drained slow. The walls in the bathroom were unfinished. The couch was dirty with stains/spots on it. The furniture was in bad shape.There was excessive trash and linen in the halls. Elevator was dirty. The morning breakfast was suspicious the frig was frozen in the back. The hard boiled eggs were frozen along with fruit cups and cream cheese. Out side was just as bad, trash on the ground, full cans and the dog waste can was overflowing and smelled from a distance. I did inquire about leaving for the 2nd night but was told I couldn’t be done without a penalty. For the price we paid to stay here (about $225/night) it was horribly bad and disappointing, to say the least. I plan on contacting LaQuinta customer service, with photos.

It started rough, but Crystal made our stay so special! I took this trip after a family tragedy just to find myself again and she has gone above and beyond to make sure our trip is phenomenal! She even delivered towels, blankets, and toiletries to our room each time and beat us to our door before we had a chance to visit the desk to receive them personally (and we stay on the 3rd floor!). If you want exceptional service, stay here! The beds are super comfortable and the room is super clean!!!!! The amenities they provide are exceptional and the entire staff is very pleasant. I would stay here again and again.

Me and my wife and young daughter stayed for a weekend trip. Extremely pleased with overall experience. The location is great with an IHOP directly in front of hotel with many other restaurants around the area. We checked in late and Kristin was very polite and helpful with closet resturants and speed in getting us checked into our rooms. Very sweet kind personality. We will be returning this location in near future it is very close to Rock City and Ruby falls. They do offer an exceptional hot breakfast, clean rooms, and exceptional customer service.

I know that COVID has things weird. But they should state that they will not have anything for breakfast when it is supposed to be included in the price paid. The hotel staff did not follow their own guidelines for masks - many/mostly not wearing. Said they would not come into my room (fine), but did anyways. The cleaning crews were extremely noisy; early in the morning hours (even though mostly empty).
