The trip was an unforgettable experience. We saw all the animals from up close which was amazing and exceeded my expectations. We had a trip with Lawrence, who was an excellent guide, gave us a lot of information on all the animal species and the city itself. I recommend everyone to book this trip - we only stayed in Nairobi for 1 day so it is perfect for people on a limited schedule.

This was an incredible way to see SO much of Kenya if you only have one day! Our guide, Samuel, was SO kind and knowledgeable!! We lucked out and had a private tour, just my family. He had a cooler full of water, a guidebook, and binoculars for the day. He was at our hotel before 5am and we left just after. We stopped at a small shop about half way for restroom break, shopping, drinks, etc, then continued to the park. We saw SO many beautiful animals-and Mt Kilimanjaro in the background was the pièce de résistance!! If you have all day (our tour was 5am-7am door to door), don’t hesitate to book this!!

Peter is one of the most hardworking guides I have ever met. He was super sweet, shared his culture and was up from 4am in the morning to help all the way to almost 10pm at night. During my tour, he got us bananas and made sure we got incredible pictures of the wildlife. He also shared knowledge of wildlife, Kenyan culture, and specific ideas about must-do's in Kenya. He is an absolute incredible guide and he deserves a 10/10, five stars, and you should ask specifically for him.

I do reccomend doing the fee for Ambesoli Park before going on the tour. Be sure to ask them about that. You cannot pay at the gate with cash or card.

We did not get a free tshirt like the description says, but everything else was awesome.

Never been to Africa? No worries! You are in great hands with this tour company!! This was a trip of a lifetime! Explorer’s Wild Adventures delivered in every possible way. David was our guide and from the moment he picked us up at our hotel the adventure began. One of the very first things he told us was to feel free to ask him about anything- culture, people, politics, education, history- in addition to any questions we might have about the places we would visit and the animals we would see. He was incredibly knowledgeable and we learned so much about Kenya- in addition to detailed information on every animal, bird and plant we encountered on the tour. We selected to take the private option- which was well worth the money as we were able to move freely around the Landcruiser and see animals on both sides of the vehicle. We were also able to make requests, which David happily complied with, during our tour. Each accommodation was more beautiful than the one before it. I’ve watched safari shows on tv (Safari Brothers on Nat Geo) and our experience with David beat every episode! We saw every animal except the leopard and the elusive black rhino at distances of less than 10-15 feet. We had to put the binoculars down because we were too close to need them!! The only thing that we would do differently is NOT book the Lake boat ride- it was $50.00 (USD) per person and the boat was barely more than a very old, wide canoe. It ended up being about 15-20 minutes on the lake and then a walk where we saw animals that we had already seen due to David’s expertise. That excursion should be no more than $20.00 (USD) pp AT MOST. It was the only disappointment of our trip. We recommend this tour company and our guide, David, to everyone! Our children are already looking into booking their own trips!!

We had a wonderful time at the hotel as family. The hotel has maintained high standards of cleanliness.

Not forgetting the chefs are also doing a good job, when you have a taste of the meals and you don't wish to stop you need more and more.

I also met my friend isac wamiri for my second visit together with his colleagues and its really appreciated what they are doing there.

We had a chance to go for the morning game and we were lucky see a lion it was amazing since it was my first time
We really had good time and can't wait for my next visit

Great experience! Wife and I picked up at our hotel by Wellington (more on him at the end) promptly at 8am. Picked up one other couple on the way to the Giraffe Center. Arrived about 5 minutes before it opened. Perfect. Fun and learning at the GC. Up close to feed the giraffes. Much better than seeing them at a zoo.
Stopped at a shop on the way to the Elephant Orphanage. We didn’t buy anything but this would have been a place to buy some carvings. All sizes and poses of animals. Good place to grab a coffee soda or technical stop.
Saw many baboons along the road to the orphanage. Again arrived in time to enter at 11am opening. Up close to see and touch the young and slightly older elephants as they were given milk, water and tree branches with leaves. There were 2 groups of elephants, each group consisted of 12-15 elephants. Head handler told about each elephant; name age, were found and in what condition and what the plan was to return them to the wild. Again so much better than seeing at a zoo. They also had a baby rhino that walked around and was amenable to petting!
Bead center was fascinating. Good place to purchase all sorts of beaded necklaces and bands. Also beaded leather belts, bags and watch bands available.
Lunch was at a local restaurant but, we were all still adjusting to time changes so we weren’t very hungry.
On to the Bomas exhibition. Very colorful and lively demonstration of dancing, drumming and singing but performers who clearly enjoyed performing.
Back to the hotel after a full day. A great way to spend the day! Well worth it. Boom early so you don’t get shut out of either the Giraffe Center or Elephant Orphanage.
Our drive/guide for the day, Wellington was prompt, very pleasant, informative and a Great driver! Nairobi is very busy and he knew how to navigate the chaotic traffic as a pro. Felt very comfortable leaving belongings on the van so we didn’t have to carry everything all the time. Ask for Wellington!

Driver (Calvin) was very helpful and we have been having interesting and friendly chat. There were payment issues at the Hells Gate park but it is not fault of company. Eventually, personal eCitizen account plus VISA card payment has worked after failing 2 times. Hells Gate itself has nice scenery and I am glad I took the trip. Biking in park has pluses (you see more area) and minuses (less attention to what is around than while walking). Lake Naivasha boat trip is nice experience for ornithologist, many different birds. Plus seeing nostrils of few hippos.
Overall - I recommend this as 1 day trip from Nairobi. Just make sure you understand what is included in price (not fault of company, whole market is not transparent/understandable). Calvin was very pleasant.

I had an excellent time on this game drive in Nairobi National Park with Peter. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I was amazed at how many different animals I saw in the park. I was especially awes by a large group of white rhinos that we saw. Would definitely recommend doing a game drive with Peter.
