"Saving Christ: Starway Seven" by Francis T. Perry Williams offers a captivating blend of history, spirituality, and modern-day intrigue, taking readers on an unforgettable journey through time and faith. Williams skillfully intertwines the ancient world with contemporary themes, presenting a narrative that sparks contemplation and emotional resonance. While the novel explores profound questions surrounding faith and destiny, it also delivers a gripping storyline filled with richly drawn characters and evocative descriptions, ensuring a compelling read from start to finish.

However, some readers may find certain deviations from traditional religious narratives challenging, particularly regarding the romantic involvement between Jennifer and Jesus. While the premise adds an intriguing twist to the story, it may require readers to approach the novel with an open mind and an appreciation for imaginative storytelling.

Overall, the book is a thought-provoking novel that offers a unique perspective on a timeless tale, inviting readers to ponder the intersection of history, spirituality, and human experience.

Saving Christ: Starway Seven by Francis T. Perry Williams.

A story that tries to show the human side of Christ, where a modern woman travels to the past and becomes romantically involved with Christ, there is a whole plot around where they try to harm them and others do not. I am an atheist but I think this story is a little irreverent since the figure of Christ in the Catholic world is very deified so assuming what happens in this plot seems strange to me. The book is well written but I insist, I find it somewhat incredible.

"Saving Christ: Starway Seven" by Francis T. Perry Williams takes the reader back in time to the life of Jesus, but with a twist. Our main character is Jennifer, and she's gone back in time over 2,000 years, thanks to a time-traveling vehicle built to prove that Jesus existed. But not everyone wants the mission to succeed. Enter President Jim Peck, a God-hating atheist. It's in his best interest to ensure the mission fails, or, at the least, that God pays for taking Jim's son in a car accident. However, the story deviates from the major tenets of Christianity when Jennifer and Jesus become romantically involved. Of course, this would have completely changed the course of humanity by tainting Jesus with sin, making it hard to imagine. But the author assures us that Jennifer is absolutely beautiful, so Jesus couldn't help himself. Overall, the story is interesting as a fictional story, but you don't want to take it to heart and dissect all the Biblical interpretations, or you'll lose the plot.

"Saving Christ: Starway Seven" by Francis T. Perry Williams is a fascinating and deeply moving novel that seamlessly weaves together elements of history, spirituality, and modern-day intrigue. At its core, the story follows Jennifer, a contemporary woman who unexpectedly finds herself transported back in time to the final days of Jesus' life. Williams has the remarkable ability to blend historical accuracy with imaginative storytelling, skillfully crafting a story that feels both authentic and compelling, drawing readers into Jennifer's journey as she navigates the complexities of the ancient world and grapples with profound questions of faith and destiny.

One of the novel's strengths lies in its richly drawn characters and reminiscent descriptions. From the bustling streets of ancient Jerusalem to the intimate moments shared between Jennifer and the people she encounters, the story is filled with a sense of immediacy and depth that makes it impossible to put down. I found this to be a thought-provoking and emotionally resonant novel that will leave a lasting impression. Whether you're drawn to historical fiction, spiritual exploration, or simply enjoy a well-crafted story, this book is sure to captivate and inspire. Highly recommended.

Saving Christ: Starway Seven is an interesting book that will grab your attention and will make you use your imagination. I was expecting something different but I still found it enjoyable as it did get some points across. It's certainly a different way to read about the characters and their stories. Go into the book knowing it's pretty light and take it for what it is.

Let Them Eat Cake
3.0 out of 5 stars A religious sci-fi thriller and love story.

After a major family trauma the President of the USA seeks revenge on God, whom he blames for the disaster that befalls his family. To achieve his aims he sends a team back in time to the time of Christ, intending to destabilise the formation of the Church. This plot becomes known to the Pope, who acts to stop this happening. On arriving in Jesus's time, a female agent falls in love with Christ and becomes romantically involved. An interesting plotline for sure, let down a little by some unconvincing characters, but on the whole an enjoyable flight of the imagination.
