Academy Manufactor, Peregrin Took and Nuka-Cola Vending Machine
Am I correct in thinking you can draw your whole deck with these 3 cards:
-
Control at least 3 food
-
Sacrifice the food to [[Peregrin Took]] to draw a card
-
Trigger [[Nuka-Cola Vending Machine]] to create 3 tapped treasures
-
[[Academy Manufactor]] & Peregrin Took’s replacement effects would make this 4 treasures, 4 food and 4 clues
-
Rinse and Repeat
Side question: how many of the treasures, food and/or clues would be tapped from each loop? I assume just the 3 treasures from the vending machine trigger?
Peregrin Took - (G) (SF) (txt)
Nuka-Cola Vending Machine - (G) (SF) (txt)
Academy Manufactor - (G) (SF) (txt)
[[cardname]] or [[cardname|SET]] to call
No. You have 3x Triggers, each would create 1x Tapped Treasure.
Peregrin and Manufctor would apply to each of theses individual Triggers.
No.
If you choose #1 x3 times, you end up with 6 Clue, 6 Food and 6 Treasure.
If you choose #2 x3 times, you end up with 3 Clue, 6 Food and 3 Treasure.
Either way, 3 Food in = 6 Food out + Draw a Card.
Would the treasure tokens come into play untapped because of Academy Manufactor replacement effect?
All the Tokens enter tapped.
Manufactor / Peregin simply modify what is being created, not how they are created.
I see, makes sense. Thank you
Would half of them not be untapped? Or because Took doesn’t specify “an additional untapped food token” in his replacement effect do they just enter the same as the tapped treasure from vending machine?
No.
Again, the Replacement effects modify what is being created, not how they are created.
If you attack with [[Hanweir Garrison]], while you control [[Chatterfang]], all Tokens (Human and Squirrel) are Tapped and Attacking.
If you activate the second Loyalty ability of [[Chandra, Acolyte of Flame]], while you control Chatterfang, all Tokens (Elemental and Squirrel) are granted Haste. Likewise, all Tokens are Sacrificed in the End step.
