Rafiqzada, who stands at the height of 5 feet 9 inches (1.76 meters), was born in Kabul, Afghanistan, in 1981. Her birthday falls on March 4.

Her parents of Afghani ethnicity decided to leave the country foreseeing its violence-filled future. With Catholic charities' help, they immigrated to America as victims of war with Rafiqzada and her brother. At the time, Rafiqzada was just at the age of 12. 

After entering America, her mother, a teacher, and a political news anchor of Afghanistan worked as a housekeeper to sustain the family. Rafiqzada also worked hard from a young age; she served food, took care of kids, and cleaned homes while graduating from high school and college.

She holds an American nationality and follows the Islamic religion.

She Had Brief Career In Movie Industry

Rafiqzada garnered experience in the acting profession for a short time. She appeared in a horror thriller, Chain Letter, in 2009.

Rafiqzada is married to Westworld actor Michael Ealy. He is a Golden Globe Award-nominated actor, best known for his portrayal of Darwyn al-Sayeed on the 2005 Showtime drama series Sleeper Cell.

The pair started dating in 2008. After four years of the relationship, they tied the knot in a private ceremony in Los Angeles on Oct. 20, 2012. Only six people witnessed their wedding. Then, after two months, they threw the reception party. 

 Both husband and wife have a close bond with each other. They regularly take to social media to exhibit their love towards one another.

Has A Family Of Four With Husband

The Kabul native and Michael share two children from their marriage.

They welcomed their first child, son Elijah Brown, on April 19, 2013. They also call him Rakim. After two years of their son's child, they welcomed a daughter on September 21, 2016. They named her Harlem.

In an Instagram post for 2020 mother's day, Rafiqzada shared that she never thought motherhood was her cup of tea. She actually didn't want to have kids while growing up. However, things changed and so did her mindset.
