It’s unbelievable: Steve Winwood has been 18 and 19 years old when these recordings were made. Is this issue in gold (front of the cd) and silver (back of the cd) ?- "Best Of Traffic" would be better named "Best Of Early Traffic" The selections on here predate great albums like "John Barleycorn Must Die" and "Low Spark Of High Heeld Boys". This is an uneven album because Traffic's style was rapidly evolving. Their early psychedelic stuff does not age well. As a result, Side A is a bit of a mess, but, thankfully, Side B is killer. Creative lads these, once they focused.
The sleeve is NOT printed by EJ Day of course, but is made and printed in Germany.
