News flash: Annabelle Rama is the first to break the silence surrounding Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati's rumored broken marriage.
Annabelle confirmed that Richard and Sarah are not living together anymore. "Si Richard, nasa bahay ko ngayon, one month na," she revealed.
The actor's mother shared her knowledge regarding the issue to ABS-CBN News on December 7, 2023. "Pero unti-unti siyang lumilipat ng gamit sa Alabang. Lilipat na siya after Christmas," she added.
Moreover, she disclosed that the couple's kids, Zion and Kai, are in Richard's care at the moment. This is despite the kids spending time with Sarah, as seen on her Instagram posts. "Ngayon, ang mga bata na kay Richard," she said.
Speculations about Richard and Sarah's breakup began this year, and Annabelle related that she hasn't talked to her daughter-in-law yet.
"Hindi ko siya (Sarah) nakakausap. Wala akong time makipag usap sa kanila."
By her remarks, people could tell that there is bad blood between her and Sarah at the moment. "Nakikita mo naman, hindi mo na kailangang magsalita pa. Nakikita mo na yan. Si Richard trabaho nang trabaho, 'yung isa nagwawaldas ng pera. 'Yun lang ang masasabi ko diyan," she furthered.
Although she kept silent about the *official* relationship status of the once-lovestruck couple, Annabelle seemed to bravely speak for his son. "Mahirap para sa kaniya, kasi una trabaho siya nang trabaho. Wala siyang ibang ginawa kundi magtrabaho. Pagdating niya sa Manila, hindi niya alam kung bakit nagkaroon ng gulo," she shared.
In the end, Annabelle declared that the truth will soon come out, but it must not come from her. "Hindi pa 'ko pwede magsalita eh [...] Maghintay na lang kayo kasi malalaman niyo rin. Not now," she said.

Richard and Sarah have yet to issue a statement addressing the rumors about their controversial split. Speculations began when most netizens and fans noticed the absence of the two from each others' Instagram feeds.
The two are known to be a couple who had no problem doing public displays of affection a.k.a PDA. However, it was way back in August 2023 when they were last seen posting a photo together.
