Came here due to social content and most websites recommended. It turns out to be another tourist trap. Food was poor, crab and lobster not fresh, veg not washed properly and lots of black stuff in it. We had scallops and sweet and sour pork, and those were good. Spent 600hkd, but we had to have another dinner after as we don't want to eat anything left. Think twice if you are thinking of going here. 繼續閱讀

What Michelin star?? How does this restaurant even get selected!? Apathetic staff and as soon as we entered the restaurant the manager said don’t give them the set menu hoping that we would order the expensive a la carte dish.We went for the set menu for two. And as soon as the dish arrived we were so disappointed with the lack of effort cooking/presentation and it doesn’t even taste good. The only tasty dish was the sweet and sour pork - which was crispy with tangy sauce.The lobster noodle with cheese sauce - sauce tasted horrible - the lobster had some funny taste to it - probably the gut wasn’t cleaned out properly - saw some black gut in the lobster meat - yuck…The crab was tiny with no meat - just a lot of garnish with a baby crab - what’s the point. The scallop was ok.Vegetable was bland and effortless - just Blanche and soya sauce on top.Seriously poor staff service and “hea” cooking and presentation and tasted awful - how on earth can they get Michelin star??Don’t bother coming and fall into the tourist trap with the “Michelin recommendation” display. Also there were flies flying around even though we sit inside. Awful experience for $600+ dinner. 繼續閱讀

I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant! The seafood was absolutely delicious, and the fact that we could sit outside and enjoy the sea breeze made it even more enjoyable. One unique aspect of this place (Sai Kung) is that you can choose the seafood you want from the fish tank and even suggest how you'd like it to be cooked. Some people might have reservations about whether the dish they receive matches what they selected, but personally, I didn't have any doubts. On that particular night, we opted for a large "flower" lobster for sashimi, with its head deep-fried to perfection. Both dishes paired wonderfully with our wine and beer.In addition to the lobster, we also ordered a variety of other seafood dishes, including steamed shrimps, Stir fried clams with blank beans sauce, fried crab with Typhoon Shelter style, sea snails in spicy wine sauce, and stir-fried broccoli with garlic. We couldn't resist trying the Supreme Soy Sauce Fried Noodles as well. Each dish was prepared with great care and tasted amazing.Despite the restaurant being quite crowded on that Thursday night (maybe it was close to Mother's day), the waiters remained incredibly busy. However, whenever we needed assistance, they promptly attended to us once they finished their current tasks. Their services were impressive. Overall, I really enjoy dining at this restaurant, especially when I'm accompanied by my friends. The combination of tasty seafood, pleasant atmosphere, and attentive service makes it a great choice for a memorable dining experience. 繼續閱讀

As usual the quality of the food and the cooking was absolutely excellent!There was however less choices, both in seafood and cooking of them, compared to, many, previous experience.BUT the huge problem was the service!!Rude is not strong enough to describe it.Ordering started badly...almost preventing to order more seafood (to pack it to eat later if needed)Instead of having the 5-6 dishes (to share) coming almost together,  they were coming ~one by one (less people in the kitchen...while a week day?).In decades coming to Hong Kong restaurants,it was the first time we were brought ... (totally unnecessary) forks!!  Shocking.The waiters were extremely rude pressing us to eat faster(removing some serving plates while they were still some seafood or (delicious) sauce).Our plates and side plates were regularly replaced as if we were not eating fast enough.Our friends, that came before to that place, were absolutely shocked too.The prices seemed much higher, but I do not remember the previous times as it was BEFORE clearly very good value for money.My decoding:The pressure from management on staff (to trim costs) seems a logical explanation to the behaviour of the staff (3 of them competing for rudeness).My question is the following:As the client turnover is obviously dropping, then that might affect the freshness of the seafood supply and trigger some corner cutting!In a seafood restaurant, the result can be serious.Conclusion:Between the extreme rudeness of the staff and the potential risk on seafood supply,we have decided to never eat at that place again. 繼續閱讀

移民多年的弟弟回來了,今日和他去西貢走走,吹吹海風,海旁有很多間海鮮酒家,見全記係十幾年米芝蓮推介,水準應該不錯,於是入去試試。原來不單止食海鲜,更有點心供應,我們點了四人海鮮餐,可以選擇五個菜式,白灼蝦,芝士龍蝦伊麵,蒸鮑魚及扇貝,炒蟹,送油菜及甜品。白灼蝦肉係爽的,但冇乜鮮味,其他幾款不錯,廚師調味適中,炒蟹有鑊氣,鮑魚扇貝夠新鲜,好好味道。人均約300,都算唔錯,員工服務態度很好,我們食得很開心。 繼續閱讀
