My experience at sweetwater high was relatively good and allowed me to make irreplaceable experiences. Attending school here taught me the importance of setting your priorities. This year I am a senior, and I have had to learn how to manage my time within such a small timeframe. This allowed me to set my priorities straight and really focus on what matters for the sake of my future. I’ve made many friends throughout high school, and i’ve lost much more, but this isn’t necessarily a bad thing as that taught me not to be so dependent. Attending sweetwater high has allowed me to put myself out there and really participate in activities that I wouldn’t normally find myself doing. Although I have two weeks left, I sometimes wish I could rewind the time and go back and enjoy this school for a little longer.
My high school experience at Sweetwater was really good, I loved it. Some of the best things about my experience was making friendships with people I did not expect. The friends I created were with people from all grade levels, everyone has good attitudes. Another best thing was creating bonds with teachers, not everyone is fortunate enough to get along with their teachers. I was thankfully able to create bonds which helped me continue doing better in school. They motivated me no matter what. The personal worst for me was my shyness, it stopped me from participating in many things. Overall there was nothing wrong with my school in my opinion. A change I would like to see is that the school remodels some building for future incoming students.
As someone who had been in school since freshman year, the first half of the two years in Sweetwater High School were rough. Freshman to sophomore year were the years where we were still in a pandemic, having to either wear a mask (sophomore year) or stare at a screen while laying in bed (freshman year). The transition from sophomore year to junior year, where the mask mandate was lifted off and I had joined ROTC, my interest in actually trying in school had finally grown. During my freshman and sophomore years I did not care for my academics as much but I had A's and B's. At the start of my sophomore year, I joined the school's girl's volleyball team. Junior and senior year have been way harder as now I'm growing out of the immature teenage era and finally putting in the work I have to do. I'm enjoying being in the school, joining clubs now and being in the school's volleyball team for the past 3 years.
