Is there a way to turn on a blackberry phone without the battery?
Even when I connect up the battery terminals positive and negative to power, the phone turns on, and a pattern with a cross over it pops up, and never fully boots. Is there a way to bypass that without buying a battery for it? Because I have a blackberry battery, but It won't use it either. It has to have the battery that is made for that phone only.

You should just be able to hook it up to a regular 2.0A charger and BlackBerry use a mini-USB port. Otherwise, batteries can be found on eBay cheap. Why would you want to power up an old BlackBerry, nostalgia?
Well, it happens to have a touchscreen, and yes. I love old phones, and I legit just want to see it work. That's it. I would buy batteries for them, but I have a lot of them and each one is different, and they happen to verify the battery or some crap like that, so even if the battery fits, it might not work. I think I've tried that, but it won't work
Sounds like it's one of the newer models, I know the older ones you could power on without a battery (I've done it), the later Android ones I'm not so sure.
Oh, I know they do not run android. But they might be kinda new? Like maybe 7-10 years old
Yeah, I just tried to connect a charger to it, and it just showed the same battery with an x over it
I heard Blackberry phones chargers work as a battery bypass. Look up the model number and see it if it has that feature
Or just try it if you have the charger
I don't think I have a original blackberry charger. I bought a lot of phones from eBay because it had the HTC Dream in it and I really wanted it, and it was cheap. But I'm just trying to get them to do something
