Question for the falsely accused.

Sexual Assault

Hey, I have a question for the people who've been through it And falsely accused.

I Was accused 2 years ago in the college of SA* and R* but the case is still pending. The case itself has been radio silent and dead for almost 3 years. The whole thing was a bluff to ruin my livelihood and reputation. He said she said case.

Stupid detectives didn't do the due diligence to get the evidence before charging me so they charged me off of nothing or the fact that we were together on that particular day.

I moved on but finding jobs has been difficult. I started dating again and found my soon-to-be wife overseas. And flew to spend time with her and came back to America. Where soon she will be moving in with me.

But the question is, was how long does this usually take to get dismissed and expunged? My lawyer is a piece of work but he's for the most part got me through.

For the people who've had the worst of it, I want you to know it gets easier day after day. I remember way back before I didn't wanna be on this earth anymore sadly I thought things would never get better but I'm living proof you can get through it. You gotta take it one day at a time.

For whoever is curious about my story it's on account here.

For the men who haven't dealt with this don't be an idiot it's a dangerous world out there don't put yourself in bad situations with terrible narcissistic people.

Terrible people can't get enough of the Me 2 movement and take away from actual victims with their false accusations.

Good luck. This summer I have a trail for mines. I had to sell my home for the appeal. Good luck. I pray for your success.

Same to you.

My husbands case was charged in 9/2022 and dismissed in 2/2024. We knew very early that the pre-trial phase was long and painfully slow, and basically if it wasn’t dropped in that timeframe, it would move to trial.

Your lawyer needs to do a better job moving it along…

Note: My husband wasn’t in jail, so his process moved slower.

Were there any implications after getting it dismissed and expunged? Jobs careers, etc? Does it truly ever go away?

Ask your lawyer. Some states have no expungement process, none of us can answer this for you. There's almost surely probable cause against you - that's not saying much, I can find you hundreds of court cases noting that probable cause is a low standard. If there is, dismissal is at the prosecutor's discretion.

Mine never went that far, tho i wish i did take it further as my ex is a moron and i had evidence and witnesses for my innocense

What i can tell you, as someone who is some 12 years post accusation: the majority of women you'll meet, if you explain yourself calmly and not out of the blue, will both understand and support you. Most of them know someone who made false accusations

I stopped explaining that kinda stuff to especially women at job interviews. A lot of people really can't comprehend it. If he was charged, he's automatically guilty. "No innocent before proven guilty."believe all women" if I ever do open up about it. It's to men because they've mostly understood. Gives me anxiety to even bring up that past trauma, even talking about it. People start to watch you closely when they know about that type of thing and don't trust you around the women of the establishment. I just wanna be treated normally, dealt with the repercussions of If I was actually a rpit .
