The fact that there are incentives from the school to place reviews here should tell you that the reviews are fake. (What middle school student would say “top notch” about the teachers? All the reviews sound the same.) If parents and students were truly listened to, maybe the school could evolve into a progressive institute of learning and not a place where indoctrination takes precedence over inclusivity.
Very good overall experience. Dedicated, caring teachers are involved with their students. Strong focus on college preparation and academics.
I am a female person of color and the school was predominantly caucasian and fairly wealthy. This made me feel pretty isolated compared to my peers. However, they did prepare me for college and the STEM subjects were pretty good, which allowed me to go to a highly ranked college for Aerospace Engineering.
As a Junior, I believe I can say I've had some good experiences here. Carmel is a close-knit community full of love and readiness to help each other grow and learn new things. Carmel provides certain experiences other schools might not be able to, especially the Kairos retreat. Carmel staff is always willing to help when a student might be facing issues, and the ability to form bonds with teachers is amazing. Students are always willing to help each other out, making the most out of anything handed to us. Carmel provides challenges and new experiences for anyone looking for them! The masses also bring forth a strong connection in faith, as do the rallies to bring the true Carmel spirit together.
For giving our kids much needed advice For educating the youth today For shaping the future generation For showing our lost kids the way For making sacrifices aplenty For taking up a profession so selfless For letting us parents breathe easy For being a Best school. Carmel High School is the such a great school.

I love the wide selection of classes, the teachers are all really good and love their jobs. I wish the cafeteria food was a little cheaper though
carmel is very welcoming to all! they have a wide variety of clubs and activities for anyone to join.
Carmel has helped my daughter learn a bunch of different way she enjoys learning and the teacher. The only thing I wish is that they made things like junior mass more accessible by sending our more emails about it.
Carmel is a really great school! Literally has the best food and amazing teachers and staff. I would totally recommend
Carmel Catholic HS offers an excellent academic program and an active community that supports its students as they prepare for the rigors of college. The academic, sports, and club offerings are extensive. Students also have the opportunity to explore and develop their Christian faith as well. As a result, they emerge well-prepared and well-rounded.
Carmel puts students first - the whole student including their emotional education and well-being, not just their academics. On top of excellent academic course offerings (AP classes, practical engineering and business courses, performing arts) and extracurricular activities (robotics, debate, government, dance, sports), they foster a sense of community, support, and belonging. I’ve seen firsthand how it transformed my oldest going from public school to Carmel. My youngest is thriving there as well, and we are very glad we made that decision.
I’ve sent 3 children to Carmel and I’m so happy that we are able to give our children this opportunity.
Carmel is an amazing school that’s helps me excel in many different subject. The athletics and food is amazing.
As an Alumni and a Carmel Parent of two Alumni as well, our Return on Investment for both our kids have been 200%+ in college scholarships. More than worth the sacrifice to prepare you for College and beyond.
I work in a Catholic elementary school annd my daughter atends as well and Carmel is always looking out for us. From the summer camps, coming to the school to volunteer, reading to the kids, performing for the kids. I truly can’t wait for my daughter to attend.
Love the Community! Very supportive. Building could use some updating- cafeteria and student spaces…
Carmel supports the students, they actually care and want to see them succeed. It is a second family and they make sure all the students feel that way.
