Just back from a lovely 3 night stay here. Big thank you to Shirley & Dave for their friendliness and hospitality! Rooms a little on the small side, but very clean, warm and cosy. Perfectly fine for a short break away. Bed lovely and comfy, kids slept very well. Wi-fi is a good strength and speed, also fee, which is a big bonus. Breakfast was hot, tasty and delicious! Car park at the back, entrance is very snug, but I was advised about this before I arrived, we have a chunky Focus estate and we managed fine. Hotel just a few short minutes away from Sandcastle water park, very convenient. The water park is the main reason we visited Blackpool. In fact Holmleigh is very conveniently situated!...very short walk to the trams and the Pleasure beach. We got a day ticket to use…

As a family we have spent many a year choosing hotels in Blackpool for our annual family trip, its always difficult booking the right family room as I always need two and as Blackpool always costs when there are 6 of you so its important finding the right hotel at the right price, hurray we have found one. The Holmeleigh Hotel is what we have been looking for, we now have a base to book each time we go to Blackpool no more endless searches. Shirley and David are such lovely proprietors we were greeted with smiling faces and could not do enough for us, very helpful and informative. My sister has two young children to whom Shirley was lovely with them making sure they had all they needed. The breakfast could not been faulted was the best I have had at all B&B's that I have stayed…

Having visited Blackpool on numerous occasions, this time we fell upon this hidden gem in the craziness that is Blackpool! Firstly, we arrived slightly later than scheduled, but the owners were waiting outside for us, to move their car so we could park right outside the hotel!! Throughout our stay, Shirley could not do enough for us, and made us feel completely at ease and at home, including the 4 teenage kids we had with us, who also commented on how much they enjoyed their stay! The location is excellent, 1 minute walk from the Pleasure Beach and Water Park. Breakfast was tremendous and set us all up for the day. We cannot rate this place highly enough, and can guarantee that we will be returning on our next trip. Thanks Shirley for a fab stay!!!!! The Abrams Family xxxx

Stayed 4 nights with 2 teenagers in a family room. Small but cosy room kept very clean and tidy. Excellent breakfast which can be tailored to suit all tastes, Very amenable and helpful owners who were available for a chat at all times. Car park small but at the back of the hotel and didn't once need a vehicle as so close to all the amenities. Would highly recommend this B and B and will be returning again I'm sure.

Just returned from a weekend break to Blackpool with the family and we were fortunate to have chosen the Holmeleigh to stay in. Located close to the Sandcastle and pleasure beach on the south shore, this hotel is an excellent base for visiting all the fun attractions Blackpool has to offer. We booked 2 family rooms and a twin room which we all found to be clean, cosy and comfortable. The hotel owners are warm and friendly and also own an excellent fish and chip shop a stone's throw from the hotel which we made good use of! There is secure parking at the rear for added peace of mind. The breakfast was lovely and we were all made to feel like nothing was too much trouble at all times. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and will definitely return as soon as we can.

We stayed at the Holmeleigh Sunday through May Bank Holiday Monday. We were greeted by the lady owner who was polite and lovely to chat to. She advised that as we'd arrived a little early, the room wasn't ready for us but she happily sent out her husband to open the car park gates and allow us to securely park the car. The family room was lovely, bathroom was a little small but still well set out. Walking the 3 floors with a chipped bone in your ankle is not to be advised!! Every time she saw me she was filled with concern, checking I was ok. Beds were soft and the hotel had a very homely feel. The children loved it. Breakfast was cooked well, served hot and exactly what we asked for. The location is fantastic, about a 2 minute walk to the beach and pleasure beach (but the…

We recently stayed here as a large group on a trip. The hotel was very clean and maintained throughout with comfortable rooms and beds. Some a little on the small side, but this is typical of Blackpool hotels. They have a smallish car park in the back which is rare for the area, so a massive positive. The bar serves draft and canned beer/cider and is very reasonably priced. The owners were both very welcoming and friendly.

Hi John, that's extremely judgemental of you to pass comment like that.
Just to confirm the manager made no reference to a refund and the service at the hotel was at a very poor standard. Now that the manager has referred to a refund I will gladly accept due to the poor quality of service.

"Just be mindful that if you have a large car you might struggle to get In and out of the car park as the path into the carpark is very narrow, the car park is small at the back."
