  • Jess Glynne

An amazing concert - what a professional she is. I was never a diehard fan of Jess Glynne but this may have just turned me into one. Jess really knows how to connect with the crowd (said she really loves coming to Northern Ireland) but she actually stopped one song near the end because she didn't think it sounded good enough. "I want to give you the best I can" she told the crowd after complaining that the sound wasn't to her liking. We had noticed her fiddling with her earpiece earlier in the night and that the music often drowned out her voice, but after her temporary stoppage, her amazing voice belted out over Belfast and the crowd were ecstatic. What a perfectionist and well worth standing in the initial rain. Definitely want to see this lady again.

  • The show was cancelled the afternoon of the show. I never heard a word on Friday from either Ticketfly or LincolnTheater about the show Cancellation. I heard about cancellation through friends who did hear from both Ticketfly and the Lincoln Theater. Glynne tweeted that the show was “postponed” and said “I promise I’ll be back full of love.” But nobody has heard anything about our tickets being refunded; or about a future DC performance. Interestingly, no other subsequent shows — including one the next day in Philly — have been cancelled. Overall, it has been a big disappointment that has thus far left a bad taste in my mouth.

  • Jess was amazing the stage creatives were exceptional and the event as a whole was well organised however the sound for the support acts was unbearably loud and made the experience of the support acts disappointing even though they were really good. The venue was small which I liked because it made the concert more intimate and felt like there was more emotion in the performance because it was more enclosed. Overall a really good experience and Jess is the best
