For over 40 years, iconic folk-rock band Indigo Girls, Amy Ray and Emily Saliers, have remained beloved for their music and dedication to radical self-acceptance. Even with loyal fans across generations, Amy and Emily faced misogyny and homophobia in an industry that does not value non-normativity. Director Alexandria Bombach stages a present-day, free-wheeling conversation with Amy and Emily about their legacy and future interspersed with footage from decades of Indigo Girls home movies.
