Clawdeen Wolf is a 2022-introduced and all-around character. She is an Afro-Latina teen who has always navigated her way in the world through a unique perspective. Used to defying expectations, she never fit neatly into any box. So, when she discovers her heritage – half-human, half-werewolf – Monster High becomes a place where she can truly belong, acting as a haven for embracing her monster side alongside her human identity.

Clawdeen is a slim, American-Afro-Latina teenager. In her werewolf form, she takes the appearance of a teenage caramel-furred werewolf with extra fur-tufts, and triangle-shaped dark brown wolf ears.
Her eyes are golden-yellow with rather thick eyelashes protruding from each eye, and she also sports freckles on her face, a dark brown nose, and sharp fangs inside of her mouth. Her eyebrows are a dark brown, showing off her real hair color.
As a human, Clawdeen's appearance is the same, only she is instead a caramel-skinned teenager with basic human traits. In addition, her hair is stylized in a less voluminous and messier form.
Original Look[]
For Clawdeen's debut outfit, she has waist-length curly, two-toned dyed rose-gold and purple hair with brown underneath which has been kept in a top-knot half-down hairstyle. and she wore a few piercings - three of them being crescent moon-shaped on her left ear, and makeup which included coral-red lipstick and hot-pink nail polish on her sharp claws.
Clawdeen's attire consists of a pair of rectangular-shaped, golden-framed glasses over her eyes. She wears a set of jaguar-printed purple shortalls with a design of a black howling wolf which is surrounded by all of the phases of the moon printed on the chest center, worn over a mid-length-sleeved black shirt with hot-pink zebra stripes and moons printed all over it. She also wore a pair of slip-on sneakers which are colored in three shades of purple, with yellow shoelaces, velcro straps, and golden claws printed at the bottom.
Clawdeen accessorizes with a golden moon-shaped belly belt around her waist, and the golden Moonclaw talisman which hangs from her neck - having a moon-shaped pendant around the purple jewel and small, star and crescent moon-shaped pendants on chains and the choker part of the necklace.
Personality[]
Clawdeen Wolf is a bold mix of brains, brawn, and bite! This confident teen embraces her Afro-Latina heritage and recently discovered werewolf side. She often incorporates cool slang from both cultures into her speech, and always creeps it real.
Clawdeen's passion for monsters made her an outsider among the human world. Unlike them, she wasn't scared of spooky stories – she believed monsters were real and longed to find them. When she discovered Monster High, a school for monsters, it felt like home. Here, "fangtastic" wasn't a silly joke, and everyone celebrated being different.
Even at Monster High, Clawdeen wasn't exactly the same as everyone else. Being half-human and half-werewolf meant she fit in a little with both monsters and humans, but not completely with either. However, this difference turned out to be a strength. Clawdeen understood what it felt like to be on the outside, and this empathy made her a great friend to anyone who felt different.
Clawdeen isn't just about style; she's got a sharp mind too. She loves learning new things, especially about the fascinating world of monsters (even if she has some catching up to do!). Despite her anxieties about fitting in with the full-blooded monsters, Clawdeen's a natural leader. Her bravery and determination shine through, even when she tries (and sometimes fails) to act super cool.
Clawdeen is proud of who she is, both her human and monster sides. She won't let anyone tell her how to act or who to be. In fact, she celebrates what makes her unique! In a world where some people might be scared of those who are different, Clawdeen is a champion for being yourself. She's a role model who shows everyone that it's okay to be different, and in fact, it's what makes you special!
Abilities[]
Being the daughter of a werewolf and human and having the Moonclaw necklace/talisman, Clawdeen's abilities are:

- Athleticism: She is extremely athletic and takes on the full power of athleticism. Without being in her werewolf form.
- Human and Werewolf transformation: With the Moonclaw Tailsman she can switch between a human and a werewolf at will, something that only the most powerful werebeast can do. Without the Moonclaw Tailsman however, she will only be able to transform to from werewolf to human during the full moon.
- Werewolf instincts: Her whole life Clawdeen has heard a voice, that she never quite understood until she was gifted the moonclaw talisman. Now her instincts give her guidence, such as when there's trouble or danger. Her instincts also directly show her where there is danger through a vision where she can feel the world around her. When her visions occur, she can run at the speed of light, to help those as quickly as possible, like when she helped Cleo when she was about to fall.
- Acute sense of Smelling: She has an acute sense of smell when she’s in her human form, but when she's in her werewolf form it increases.
- Enhanced Hearing: Clawdeen has a super sense of hearing.
- Enhanced Strength: Clawdeen is shown to be very strong naturally. With the moonclaw necklace, she is gained with extra strength.
- Enhanced Speed: Clawdeen can run at high speed.

- Knowledge of monsters: Because of her passion for monsters, Clawdeen studies and researches about them everyday. So Clawdeen has a great knowledge about monsters and knows many facts about them.
- Singing: She is a great singer.
- Casketball: Clawdeen is great at playing casketball.
- Design: Clawdeen is a good fashion designer and has a passion for fashion.[3][4]

Clawdeen is the daughter of the werewolf Selena and the human Apollo, who's a monster researcher. Clawdeen loves her parents deeply and they love her too. Ten years ago, Clawdeen's mother disappeared, leaving her alone with her father. Mother and daughter were very close, as Selena would cook hot tamales for her and sing her a lullaby, and Selena left her moonclaw talisman for Clawdeen so she could discover her werewolf heritage and find Monster High. Nowdays, Clawdeen misses her mother deeply and wants more than anything to bring her back home.
Clawdeen and Apollo became very close in their relationship, Apollo is the only human in Clawdeen's life who has loved her and accepted her the way she is. After Selena's disappearance, Apollo would act weird whenever Clawdeen mentioned something about monsters, but after Clawdeen revealed her monster side to her father, he revealed to her he knew about Selena being a werewolf, he apologized for not telling her before, as he was afraid to lose her too, and she forgive him. Clawdeen and Apollo have become even closer to each other after this revelation.
Later, Clawdeen discovered her mother passed all these 10 years trapped in another dimension called "Beheme" and when Selena arrived there, she discovered was expecting Clawd. Although Clawdeen was born first than Clawd, time passes faster in Beheme making him physically older than her, so he is technically her older brother. At first, Clawdeen didn't believed him, but when she saw Clawd had in his bag the hot tamales their mother cook, she realized he was her brother indeed. After they worked together to stop the Splitzy's from destroying the school and, mostly, after they sang together the lullaby their mother sang to them as kids, the two grew a lovely sibling relationship, they talk to each other about their parents and are determined to bring their mother back home.
Being an older brother is something new to Clawd, as before, he has never looked out for anyone but himself. So during the Growl-o-Games, Clawd has been very overprotective to her, to her annoyance. While they were trapped with the Venus Flytrap Monster, Clawd didn't let Clawdeen do anything and tried to take down the plant on his own but was almost eaten alive until Clawdeen saved him. This made Clawd realize Clawdeen can take care of herself, he apologized to her and confessed he is just scared of losing her, she forgave him, and they worked together to escape the monster plant. This has improved their relationship, as now they look out for each other.
She currently lives with Clawd, Apollo, Selena, and Toralei.

In "Werewolf Weekend", in one of Clawdeen's records in her iBall, Clawdeen says "So, here's who I think is totally cute", meaning she might have a crush on someone. As of now, it's currently unknown who it is.
In "Monster Match", Clawdeen reveals that she is not going with anyone to the Monster Ball, meaning that she is likely not interested in pursuing anyone romantically at the moment.
