Formed in the mid-1990s around Brooklyn native Gary Olson’s collaborations with friends, The Ladybug Transistor features music that has been classified as Baroque-Indie Pop. The Ladybug Transistor is and has been Gary Olson, San Fadyl, Julia Rydholm, Sasha Bell, Jeff Baron, Jennifer Baron, Mark Dzula, Eric Farber, and Michael O’Neill.
Both Bell and Jeff Baron are also members of the neo-psych band The Essex Green as well as the alt-country band The Sixth Great Lake.
