2020 State-based Metropolitan and Micropolitan Statistical Areas Maps
Metropolitan and micropolitan statistical areas are delineated by the Office of Management and Budget. Â Metropolitan and micropolitan statistical areas (collectively known as core based statistical areas, or CBSAs) consist of one or more counties or equivalent entities.
These state maps show counties, along with metropolitan and micropolitan statistical areas, and related statistical areas. Maps are provided for each of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. The metropolitan and micropolitan statistical area and related statistical area boundaries and titles are as of March 2020.
