      Critics Consensus

No need to tune into The Titan -- bland and uninspired, this sodden sci-fi romance re-hashes other stories of super-soldiers gone wrong.

Andrew Whalen Newsweek The body horror genre thrives on disgust, shame and goo, all qualities lacking in The Titan. May 23, 2018 Full Review Kevin Maher Times (UK) Avatar's Sam Worthington is at his most charmless, seemingly channelling a slightly aggressive sirloin as he plays the dead-eyed ex-marine Rick Janssen... Rated: 2/5 Apr 13, 2018 Full Review Larushka Ivan-Zadeh Metro Newspaper (UK) This hokey sci-fi won't exactly transport you to another place but it is oddly diverting if you're in guilty-pleasure mode Rated: 2/5 Apr 12, 2018 Full Review Lonita Cook KCTV5 News at 9 A well paced, emotional ride. Sep 15, 2021 Full Review Andrew Murray The Upcoming There is an intriguing idea at the heart of The Titan, but with an underwhelming screenplay and direction, none of this potential is able to surface. Rated: 2/5 Feb 3, 2021 Full Review Carlos Frigo Cultured Vultures The Titan sets up a surprisingly solid, anxious story about the dangers and possibilities of scientific experimentation and space travel, but drops most of its intellect as it closes, making for a mixed bag of a film sadly concluding in disappointment. raiyn p The Titan had progressing potential throughout the beginning of its plot, however that potential soon turned to disappointment as the falling action destroyed all the good aspects the movie had originally put forth. The very end of the movie should've been changed and not what it ended up being which was just goofy. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 05/31/24 Full Review Raiyn P Promising movie with a good start turned bland, uninteresting, and anticlimactic (mainly around the falling action). Rated 2 out of 5 stars 05/31/24 Full Review Devin H Regardless of issues with plot or script… the acting was solid and it's an enjoyable watch. For movie-lovers I'd even categorize it as a "must watch". Entertaining concept/premise and solid acting all around. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/18/24 Full Review Slobodan D Surprised by the low ratings..Loved the movie.. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/24 Full Review Flavio P Literally the worst movie I have ever seen Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/31/23 Full Review Awais S when will we get a second movie for The Titan, I Loved it, clearly many people haven't found it to watch it, that's why there's a low score, it was amazing! #MovieThirst Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/07/23 Full Review Read all reviews
