ST. LOUIS — There is a significant severe threat (Level 4 out of 5) across southern portions of the region, especially into southern Illinois.  A tornado watch is in effect for several areas south of St. Louis County until 5 p.m. A tornado warning has been issued for Franklin, Crawford, and Washington counties until 12:15 p.m.
