Private Hire
We have over 11 years experience of hosting events and it’s something that we truly love to do! Whether you’re celebrating a birthday party, an anniversary, or looking for a venue to host your baby shower, or christening, we can help!
The venue has the capacity to cater for events from 65 up to large parties of 200 guests. We can also offer a range of menus for you to choose from including 3-course sit-down meals and informal buffets. Our bar is always included in the hire price of the venue and has a wide selection of both bottled and draught beverages.
If you’re partying, we have an incredible selection of both bands and DJs on our books, or alternatively you can bring your own entertainment. Being a live music venue means we also have a stage and all the AV equipment you might need for a great night!
Corporate Events
Corporate event planners; don’t worry we didn’t forget about you! Our venue is perfect if you’re looking for somewhere to host your end of year party, company awards night or even a networking evening.
The Jazz Café is a blank canvas with a modern interior. You are welcome to bring in décor to suit your branding and theme, not to mention hire of our venue also includes use of our bar (with bartenders) and AV equipment. We have a number of menus for you to choose from and we can cater for all kinds of dietary requirements and allergies.
If you need accommodation, neighbouring 4* hotel, voco Reading, offers guests of The Jazz Café discounted bedroom rates. You will need to enquire directly with the hotel to check availability and make your bookings.
Weddings
Here at The Jazz Café there’s no denying we know how to throw a successful event and your wedding reception is no exception. From fantastic food, to a well-stocked bar, to an incredible choice of bands and DJs to choose from, we know what makes an amazing evening reception.
We can also cater for your wedding breakfast if you are getting married off-site. Join us for a sumptuous 3-course wedding breakfast and stay with us into the early hours as we keep your guests replenished and having a good time!
Match Days
The football season may be over for now, however we’ll be back to kick off the 24/25 season! We open for every Reading FC home game and entry is free for all Reading FC season ticket holders.
