I would not be opposed to crackers adding that kind of very short intro to cracked games again. If it means more than adding a steam dll somewhere, that is. I, too, have very fond memories of that little intro tune and I loved it every time. I also remember vividly that there was an issue with one of the early cracks, that made Niko drunk after a couple of minutes of gameplay. Goooooood times.

for me it made things even worse, the frame time was a lot smoother with DX9 and even after removing dxvk game still ran like shit. waiting to get a series X so I can try to see if the console version is as good as people claim.

I tried it with DXVK and still kinda stutters, and it's locked to 60fps too afaik

GTA IV is basically a 2008 time capsule, and it wasn't meant to be one - that was just present day at the time when the game came out, looking back at it - this game has internet cafes with old looking browsers, old phones, not much social media, strong 2008 economic recession feel...

GTA V is also becoming a time capsule of early 2010's.

It's the latest patch so it doesn't include all the music, you'll need to downgrade if you want all the tracks.

When it comes to GTA 4 Stories (Base Game and DLC), I really liked Luis Lopez from The Ballad of Gay Tony (Doesnt take shit from no one, loyal to his friends, cool guy overall), funny enough when the DLC was supposed to drop I kind of didnt have big expectations because of this DLC name, but it ended up being my favorite one from the GTA 4 stories.

Niko isnt bad, but isnt the best either (For someone who is supposed to be ruthless war veteran, he is pretty easy to boss around and easily scammed and played by people, but loyal to his friends and family), Johnny for me was the weakest playable character.

Though Tommy and Claude are my favorite ones in GTA Series, Claude was merciless psycho but in a really cool way, and Tommy is Top G

The ballad of gay tony is what GTA v should have been. Loads of things to do manage a club fight club etc.
