Arborist Care Tree Service

Truthfully, I would give them all an A. I've used them more than once. They were most recently at my place this past Spring, in April. I used them last Summer in 2016 as well.

Arborist Care Tree Service, Ron Refice, owner and workers are "AWESOME". Ron and workers are very professional, experienced, knowledgeable, efficient, confident and customer service is their primary goal. Ron does not oversell and prices are fair and reasonable. He advises and explains the options. The teamwork was exceptional with good communication with me and the team, as well as, focusing on safety, protection of the environment, and customer satisfaction. They actually left my yard better than before they started (chopped wood, removed, raked, etc.). They have the "WOW" factor. I have used them before and will hire them again and again.

Mr Refice asked about how much I wanted to pay. I jokingly said, "Well, I'd like to pay nothing but I'll pay whatever you say it costs." He and his helper set straight to work, removed the dead branches I pointed out, and then spotted some deadwood in a nearby tree. They quickly removed those, as well, and cleared away all the debris in seconds. They fed the branches to their wood chipper, and then got out brooms and swept the street around the chipper. When I asked, "How much do I owe you?" Mr. Refice said "Nothing." I said "What?!?!" and he replied, "Just put in a good word for us." I finally wrote out a check for what I though it was worth and forcefully put in on the seat of the truck because he refused to take it when I tried to hand it to him. This is a company that it trying hard to do a quality job and get recognized for it. I very, very, very highly recommend Arborist Tree Service to anyone especially those on the northwest side of town, which is where they are loaced

Very professional, Provides good education to homeowner. Discusses what are current needs versus what can await a latter visit.. Extremely cautious and neat with their work, cleaning up and removing trimmings from property. Would highly recommend Arborist Care for all your tree needs. Good educational background

It went well. FYI we asked for stump removal, this company outsourced that task to another outfit.

They came out the same day I called. They got everything done within, like, 90 minutes. They did an excellent job. I would recommend them; they know what they are doing and we are happy with them. We have used them in the past and they are top notch. They have great prices.

Ron is very honest about the current state of our ash trees that appear to have just been infested with the ash borer. He has treated them for the last two years in hopes of preventing the infestation but it was truly inevitable in our area as many, many trees have been infested and removed. We decided to treat based on the fact that I am trying to baby the trees along for another year before removing but Ron discounted the price knowing that it is only a matter of time before we take them down.

Ron came out on a Saturday to give a free estimate and we were able to schedule the work for about 2 weeks later. Overall pleased with the quality of work and the price was reasonable. 1 large tree removal, 2 medium tree removal, 2 large tree pruning, 60-80 feet of large shrub removal, miscellaneous small tree pruning. Ron and his crew of 5 or so were there all day.

He removed two long low branches from Honey locust for "better balance". Also removed all dead branches. On Pear tree, he evened up lower branches, then did selective thinning. He seemed to know what was needed to be done to take some off hanging over neighbor's property, but still have our trees keep a nice shape. I was happy with all of that. He also looked at our Japanese Maple to see if it had a disease someone else I got a quote from said it had. (It didn't.) He cleaned up well. Now for the downside. It took a long time to get him to come. He'd have excuses and it went on and on to get him here. I was not in a rush and felt he knew what he was talking about so I hung in. His price was also better than other quotes I had. He was to call me a day ahead of his coming. I told him numerous times I wanted to be here when he did the work. He didn't let me know and came when I wasn't here and did it. Honestly, I might call him again and get a quote and if his price was better than others, use him again.

It was fine. Reasonably priced, good response.

Ron came out and did an EXCELLENT job educating is on the mistake we were making with ALL of our maple trees. We didn't know it, but we were mulching too high and suffocating the roots. Did I mention he didn't charge us? Thank you Ron and our maple trees thank you too!

Ron is extremely knowledgable. He did exactly what he said he was going to do and when he was done I couldn't even tell he had been there...except my trees were gone. He's planting new ones in a few weeks. Highly recommend him!

He explained what he recommended and we agreed on it.

The overall experience went well. Ron is very nice and funny, but professional. He knows his stuff. His crew were all very nice and respectful and very efficient. They cleaned up very nice afterwards. I was there for some of the job but had to leave and they left it all very nice. Ron seemed to care what I thought about the overall job. They left everything looking good. I am looking at taking down a large tree in the future and he was really good about explaining the process.

Ron replied to my call very promptly and bid the job.Since Ron is an experienced arborist, I expected to pay more but I was mistaken. His bid was very competitive.Ron and his crew arrived on the scheduled day and trimmed all the trees. It was a large job but his crew worked very hard and completed the job and the clean up on a timely basis. I have used this company before and would recommend it to anyone who loves their trees and wants expert service!

It went very well indeed. DO: If you can, provide water, coffee, and whatever you can if it is a big job. The guys are very appreciative and respond accordingly.

Previous experience, very good, recently, not good.

Ron did not communicate well. I had agreed that he would remove my trees the following week and then didn't hear from him. I left several phone calls for him and returned home one day to find that the trees had been removed. I had no idea he was coming that day. I also had to follow up with several phone calls to get my stumps removed. I did not have him replace our trees because I was tired of making phone calls that were never returned. I will NOT do business with this company again and would not recommend them.

I have used Ron and his team to trim my river birches, lilac and crab apple tree for 3 years now- I would not use anyone else on the birches- Ron has tremendous knowledge about trees- can tell that he cares what the trees look like as well maintaining the health of the trees. He combined trimming of my neighbors tree while he was out Great Service!!

Never returned my phone calls.

I have worked with Ron for years. I always feel I can trust his judgement on what to do in my yard. He doesn't try to get me to take down more trees than necessary. In fact he is always trying to find ways to help me keep more of my older trees. He is prompt, professional, and courteous.
