When Agathe de Lorraine was born about 1120, in Nancy, Meurthe-et-Moselle, Lorraine, France, her father, Simon I 'le Gros' de Lorraine, was 46 and her mother, Adelheid van Leuven, was 43. She married Renaud III comte de Bourgogne about 1130. They were the parents of at least 1 daughter. She died in April 1147, in Swabia, Bavaria, Germany, at the age of 28.
