Whenever I see a tour of students coming in, I want to tell them to run. Each class at Emmanuel is worth 4 credits, unlike the 3 credit policy and other colleges and universities. This makes it extremely hard to transfer because you have more credits but less variety of classes. Trust me, you will want to transfer!
The academics at Emmanuel are terrible. Most of the information presented in class is stuff I learned in middle and high school. I am not at all challenged academically. The professors would rather teach you their opinion, than valuable class material. Some professors are wonderful, and are truly passionate about their subject. Others, however, blatantly admit they cannot answer your question because they have no idea what they are talking about.
Academic Advising at this school is horrific! I've been given incorrect information on numerous occasions, ultimately hurting my future at the school. I DO NOT recommend this school! They don't care about you! Worst $ spent!

As a first year student at Emmanuel College, I have enjoyed my time here so far! I really love the small community that Emmanuel has to offer. I have had the greatest and most easy going professors, and since our student:faculty ratio is 13:1, I find it incredibly easy to make long lasting connections with them. Emmanuel is also in a great area; Boston is the best college town! There is always so much to do, and I never feel bored or restless. There is so much to explore and so much to learn!
I liked Emmanuel College in Boston for its vibrant campus atmosphere and strong sense of community, which made me feel welcomed and supported. The college's excellent academic programs and dedicated faculty provided a stimulating learning environment that encouraged my intellectual growth. Additionally, its prime location in the heart of Boston offered endless opportunities for cultural experiences and professional networking.
