- Suz1884Grants Pass, OR461 contributionsDefinitely worth the time to visit. Plan on at least an hour but better to spend two or more. Wear shoes for walking on gravel and sand. - Ted CMesa, AZ235 contributionsGreat day trip from Phoenix. See the 5 different ecosystems as you ascend the 27 miles up to the top of Mt Lemmon. Several places to stop with wonderful views. BBQ lunch at the Sawmill Run restaurant was excellent. We stopped at the Riparian area of Sabino Canyon and that was also a treat, wadding thru the creek. Highly recommended.Written May 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - SgtBruskiMurrells Inlet, SC52 contributionsWe really didn't know what to expect and were happily surprised about the park. We did the driving tour which really isn't a long distance, but took us over an hour because we were constantly stopping to enjoy the vistas. We went early in the morning to beat the heat, and as it turned out we beat most of the other patrons that day. There were very few visitors. If I'm back in the area again I'll definitely stop again.Written May 21, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Betty PFort Myers, FL85 contributionsThis is one of those hidden gems that seems kind of low-profile. I thought it was wonderful. The grounds are beautiful and interesting (especially for non-southwesterners), and the historic building itself is fascinating.
His art isn’t my personal favorite style, but the scope of his work, and all the mediums he used, are really impressive. He’s a recognized important figure n the art world.
There’s a lot to see here, inside and out, but not so much that you feel overwhelmed, as happens in many museums. It’s definitely worth a visit, if you have any interest in historic buildings and native plants—and yes, the art.Written May 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is very well thought out museum where the minis are excellently displayed. There were two special exhibits when I was there- fascinating.
