2020 box set featuring all of the albums and singles recorded by the legendary American acid / progressive rock band Iron Butterfly recorded for Atlantic’s Atco label between 1967 and 1971 and additional recordings made at the Fillmore East in New York City in April 1968.
Issued as a Box Set with 6 CD-sized cardboard sleeves, 68-page booklet with lavish essay, 6-page folded poster.
There's a mistake in the booklet on the page #64: the photo of Lee Dorman is named as "Ron Bushy".
In comparison with the Real Gone Music 2015 reissue Ball, the tracks # 3-12, 3-13 are in mono.

Perfect set (missing only 1 early single called EVIL TEMPTATION) Thankfully the company omitted SUN & STEEL and SCORCHING BEAUTY from the mid 70s. (horrible albums) so we didn't have to pay extra for those! IF you want the single EVIL TEMPTATION, it is a bonus track on the LIVE IN SWEDEN 1971 CD release which is a really great album. (The vinyl version does not have the studio bonus tracks)
Edited one year agoBeautiful Drawer Box Set. It’s all here with entire recordings in the Lee Dorman as bass player era. Their first album ‘Heavy’ is Hans Pokor's Record Collector Dreams 4001 masterpiece of vinyl music. Highly Recommend!
