John Christopher McGinley is an American actor, voice actor, author, and former comedian. He is best known for his roles as Perry Cox in the NBC/ABC medical comedy-drama series Scrubs and Bob Slydell in Office Space.
For Disney, he played Marine Captain Hendrix in the 1996 Hollywood Pictures film The Rock, Earl in Training Film in Nixon, Davis Rig Lanlow in Nothing to Lose, and the Highway Patrolman in the 2007 Touchstone Pictures film Wild Hogs. He is also the voice of White Stripe and Dr. Diente in the Disney Channel animated series Kim Possible and American Dragon: Jake Long, respectively.
