Sean Patrick Hannity is an American talk show host and conservative political commentator born on December 30, 1961, in New York City, United States.

Commonly referred to as Sean Hannity, he serves as host of The Sean Hannity Show, a nationally syndicated talk radio show, and has also hosted a commentary program, Hannity, on Fox News, since 2009.

Hannity became notable also for working as a general contractor in addition to volunteering as a talk show host at UC Santa Barbara in 1989.

He later went on to join WVNN in Athens, Alabama, and shortly afterward, WGST in Atlanta.

Having left WGST, he started working at WABC in New York until 2013 and has since 2014, worked at WOR.
In 1996, Hannity co-hosted Hannity & Colmes on Fox alongside American radio and television host Alan Colmes.

Hannity merged the Hannity & Colmes show into Hannity when Colmes announced his departure in January 2008.

Hugh J. Hannity and Lillian F. Hannity are the famed parents of Sean Hannity. His mother was a stenographer and corrections officer at a county jail.
Hugh, his father, worked as a World War II veteran and family-court officer.
